Yeah, except it's the norm for the Sabres. Your Canucks should be top-6!

2-game Winning Streak For Sabres, As Moulson Scores in OT Yet Again
Drew Stafford scored two goals and Matt Moulson added a game-winning tally in OT (to his two assists) as Buffalo won their second straight. Jhonas Enroth got his first win, making 30 saves. Jason Spezza scored two short-handed goals, and Steve Ott scored both a PP goal and a short-handed goal.

Miserable Defensive, PK Effort By Sabres As Avs Romp to 7-2 Win
Just a terrible game overall, no defensive presence in the slot for us, while they had excellent presence, forcing the PP to be unsuccessful. Stafford scored a pretty short-handed goal, and Ville Leino scored the other goal (assisted by Brayden McNabb).

The Buffalo Sabres are finally, after much speculation, shopping aging goaltender Ryan Miller. No one in the organization was happy with a miserable loss to Colorado, and the Sabres are now doing the inevitable: shopping their franchise 'tender. They are rumored to be looking for either a top 4 defenseman or a 1st-round draft pick in next year's draft.

Solid Effort, But Sabres Fall 3-1 To Minnesota
The Sabres were very effective, but Niklas Backstrom was even more effective as he allowed only a short-handed goal to Drew Stafford, in the 3rd period. Charlie Coyle (deflection) and Zach Parise (wacky bounce right onto his stick) had scored 5 minutes apart to close out the 2nd period. Ryan Miller made 31 saves.

Fully Staffed: Stafford Scores 2 To Push Streak To Five As Buffalo Dominate
A solid 7-4 win for Buffalo, as Drew Stafford was magic in all zones: he scored twice and assisted once, while Steve Ott scored one and assisted on two other goals. Ville Leino and Matt Moulson both notched goal/assist nights as the Sabres cruised; Ryan Miller only needed to make 25 saves.


Marcus Foglino has been demoted to the third line. Luke Adam will take his place on the second line, and on the powerplay.

Buffalo Lose to St. Louis In Shootout For 1st OT Loss of Season
Cody Hodgson netted a goal and 2 assists, but T.J. Oshie's shootout tally was enough to give the Blues a 4-3 win at home vs. Buffalo. Drew Stafford had a goal and an assist, an Matt Moulson had 2 assists. Jamie McBain scored in his first game back from the flu, and Ryan Miller made 38 saves.

Legwand Assists Twice To Propel Preds Past Sabres
Colin Wilson and Patrick Hornqvist scored, as Buffalo lost 2-1 on the road in Nashville. Cody Hodgson had the Sabres' lone goal, assisted by Drew Stafford. Ryan Miller made 36 saves in the loss.
