KESS & LUPIE HANDLE THE WILD: LEAFS 2 WILD 1
With a mixture of great defence, goals from Kessel (15) & Lupul (8), and a 1 star perfomance by Reimer ensured the Leafs were on the right side of the win column. Holland, his first game with the Leafs, had 1 sh and one hit - but was returned to the Marlies after.

SO DEFINES WIN, NOT IN LEAFS FAVOR: LEAFS 2 SABRES 3
It took 80 mins of hockey and 3 rounds of shutout to finalize the winner in this one, and though the Leafs stole a point it was not a win. Myers (3) & Adams (2) tallied for the Sabres while McClement (1) & Franson (3) scored for the Leafs. In the SO it was Kessel-Hodgson-Ehroff.

Leafs split games with a decisive win at home, finishing 5 games in 9 nights with a 3-1-1 record - notching 7 available points out of 10. Clarkson (3), Phaneuf (4 PP), Kulemin (1 PP) found the back of the net for the Leafs with the lonely Sabres goal coming from Stafford (9).

HOME FOR 4 GAMES
The Leafs now have a few days off before hosting 4 games at the ACC: Islanders (13-7-1), Predators (12-6-2, lost 5-2 last game), Capitals (12-7-2), and the Blue Jackets (11-8-1, lost 3-2 last game). As you can see this will be a tough schedule for the 6th placed Leafs, I'll be happy if I manage 4 out of 8pts.

61 mins and 33 seconds, is what it took to find a winner in this one, as Kessel (16) gets the game winner in OT. Lupul (9), Bolland (6 SH) tallied for the Leafs while Tavares (6 PP) and Visnovsky (2) got on the board for the Islanders.

With goals from Cullen (4), Legwand (6), Hornqvist (4 PP), Spaling (4) on one side, Clarkson (4 PP,5 - 2 goal night), Lupul (10), McClement (2 SH) on the other. It actually took 3 shooters in SO to decide this one, Leafs on the losing end: Hornqvist-Kessel-Legwand.
