Its been a while since I posted anything on here and I just recently got the dynasty bug, so here goes nothing.

I kind of got ahead of myself and played 3 games, didn't record how they played out, but going into game 4 against Nashville I sit 3-0-1..

PENALTIES SEAL LEAFS FATE : LEAFS 2 PREDS 5 **
13 penalty minutes and one game misconduct (Phanuef, boarding) later killed the Leafs in this one, handing them thier 1st reg loss of the season. As Hornqvist (2), Guastad (1), and Wilson (2) all scored on the man advantage, with Spaling (2) and Wilson (3) again tapping in two more. The Leafs did manage to get on the board with goals from Bozak (3) and Bolland (1) but it wasn't enough to crawl out of this one.
W: Dubnyk 12/14 L: Reimer 23/28

BOZAK/MCLERAN OWN OILERS : OILERS 2 LEAFS 3
Gordon (1) & Eager (1), both 3rd liners, tallied for Edmonton but it wasn't enough as Bozak's 2 goals (5) coupled with McLaren's 1 goal/1 assist (thats right, an enforcer with an offensive night) sealed the Oiler's fate as the Leafs improved to 4-1-1.
W: Bernier 28/30 L: Scrivens 11/14

** The score in this one should have been 8 to 2, nothing I did worked: PK sucked, 5 on 5 sucked, Orr lost 2 fights, no rebounds, nothing...

Glad to see you're keeping Mark Fraser. Always liked him as a solid, physical defender.

OT NO FUN: WILD 3 LEAFS 2
Though it took over 4 periods to find a winner in this one, the outcome was not favourable to the Leafs as Parise's (1) OT goal sealed the deal. Heatley (2) and Pominville (4) were the other goal scores for the Wild while JVR (3) and Kadri (2) tallied for the Leafs. Another mentionable item here is a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for a Kulemin hit on Heatley in the 2nd, it was viscious.
W: Backstrom 15/17 L: Reimer 18/21


LEAGUE REVIEWS HIT, GAMES WILL BE MISSED
It was annouced this morning that Kulemin's (7gp, 0-3-3, +1) hit on Heatley in last nights game was avoidable and that he will be penalized. But due to this being his first offense he will only be penalized 2 games.

In his absence the Leafs have entered Ashton (3gp, 0-0-0, -1) in his place on the third line, Kulemin's two-way game will be missed.


PK TURNS PROFITABLE: CANES 2 LEAFS 4
Who needs PP time when your PK pays dividends as the Leafs coverted two shorthanded kills into goals by JVR (4) and Lupul (2), Kessel (5) scored the others. For the Canes Sekera (1) and a E.Staal (2) tallied, but it wasn't enough to get back into this one. Leafs now 4-1-2
