Re: O is for OHL: A Niagara Ice Dogs Franchise

Mississauga Steelheads 3, Niagara Ice Dogs 0
Notes: The Steelheads scored 1 goal every period, with the third goal being an empty netter. We just could not get anything to go in, no bounces, no nothing. Stefan Leblanc (17:27 1st), Josh Burnside (8:21 2nd), and Cody Thompson (0:43 3rd) scored for Mississauga. We hit the post/crossbar 3 times, all of them great chances but no luck left us goalless.

Kingston Frontenacs 1, Niagara Ice Dogs 0 OT
Notes: Samuel Schutt scored with 1:47 left in OT to win. Lucas Peressini was amazing this game, recording 36 saves. Bad start to the year, scoring 0 goals in 2 games. Brandon Hope has been fantastic though, 1.50 GAA and .936 save percentage and this shutout.

Re: O is for OHL: A Niagara Ice Dogs Franchise

Niagara Ice Dogs 6, Belleville Bulls 0
Notes: 6 different players scored for the us and only two of those players also added an assist. We completely outplayed Belleville in this one and peppered Charlie Graham with 36 shots to the tune of 6 goals.

Niagara Ice Dogs 3, Ottawa 67's 0
Notes: We once again played great defense and earned a win. Goalie Brandon Hope notched his third straight shutout. Mikkel Agaard scored two of three goals and both were beautiful snipes (once right after he had exited the sin bin).

Niagara Ice Dogs 5, North Bay Battalion 2
Notes: Aaron Haydon led the team with a goal and an assist to help pick up the win. Mikkel Agaard added yet another goal and captain Luke Mercer added two assists. We outshot North Bay 34-26 and Brandon Hope put in yet another fantastic performance.
