One Goal (A Chicago Blackhawks dynasty in Franchise Hockey Manager)
All offseason long the madhouse on Madison has waited patiently for the first puck drop of the season. The city of Chicago has been buzzing with excitement over their beloved Blackhawks.
The Chicago Blackhawks capped off a great 2012-13 season by hoisting Lord Stanley's cup over their heads for the second time in four years. A third cup in five years seemed attainable until their former General Manager stepped down out of the blue. Team owner Rocky Wirtz immediately set out to find a replacement that could lead them to the finals again. After searching far and wide, he ultimately decided on 29 year old Trey Duchannes.
Rocky Wirtz decision was not only earth shattering in Chicago but throughout the entire league. Duchannes is now the youngest general manager in the history of the NHL and he has big shoes to fill. Only time will tell if he has what it takes.
(This dynasty will be taking place in Franchise Hockey Manager for the 2013-14 season)
