Datsyuk To Make Home Debut Against Detroit, His Former Squad

"Its crazy, just my second game since the trade and already a emotional event...I just have to realize its just another game...I have to lie to myself," said a jovial Datsyuk in todays morning skate.

Datsyuk was held pointless in his first game against the Islanders in New York, but made his presence felt in another substantial way according to head coach Marc Crawford.

"He immediately has changed our forward core. Inserting Pavel into the number one center spot and shifting other guys around the lineup has given me a forward group I really feel confident in."

Brassard On Fire; 10 Goals In 7 Games


First it was Bobby Ryan, then it was Mike Hoffman, now it's Donald Brassard. Those three players have been responsible for periods of hot play which have sustained Quebec through different segments of the season.
