Awesome to see another 'chise on the forums here! Have always loved your dynasties and looking forward to reading another one. Also, 63 saves?! Elliot is THE man.
Appreciate it Oil! Agreed let's see if we can breath some life into this forum.
No kidding lol, it was insane. AI does not shy from shooting especially on the PP, Elliott was shallowing up all the rebounds. It was a lot of one and done.
I've been using the attribute effects maxed lately for my last couple games and it's worked wonders for me. All of my games have been a lot closer, that's for sure. I've found it doesn't have too much of an effect on goaltending (although I have goaltending reaction sliders at the mid-70s). Guys like Jonas Gustavsson have been able to stand on their head against me, which, while frustrating, actually does happen in the NHL from time to time.

Yeah all the talk on the OS EA Forum about it from OBG had me trying it out!
NHL.com -- Undisciplined play and a lackluster 2nd period led to a 6-1 blowout loss for the Flyers. The Flyers never managed to find their game after taking 5 penalties in the 1st period, resulting in a 2-0 deficit going into the 2nd period with goals from Jonathan Huberdeau and Vincent Trocheck. The 2nd period didn't fare any better for the Flyers as the Bisons would rattle off 4 goals including two in just 34 seconds. Matt Read was the lone scorer for the Flyers late in the 2nd period. Brian Elliot was chased in the 2nd period after allowing 5 goals. Roberto Luongo was rock solid, saving 21 of 22 shots by the Flyers.

The Seattle Pioneers shot out to a 2-0 lead thanks to Max Domi and his two powerplay goals in the first period, but an rare turn of events would find them down 3-2 late in the 2nd before Dylan Strome tied things up. Early in the 2nd period the Pioneers committed three penalties in a matter of seconds that saw them allow three powerplay goals in a matter of 70 seconds thanks to the Flyers top powerplay unit.
But the Pioneers would have the last laugh as two quick goals of their own would seal the Flyers fate and send the hometown fans home with a disappointing loss.

Phil Kessel pounced on a bad rebound from Michael Neuvirth off a Patric Hornqvist shot with 46 seconds left in regulation to give the Penguins a 4-3 lead over their hated rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers continue to struggle with keeping the puck out of their net and the tandem of Brian Elliot and Michael Neuvirth is the main cause. Both goalies are under .903 SV% as of last night's game.
Taylor Leier and Nolan Patrick got the Flyers out to a 2-0 lead when Leier fired a laser past Murray just three minutes in and Nolan Patrick found a rebound off Couturier's shorthanded shot. That lead would hold through the 2nd period with Hornqvist scoring a powerplay goal early in the 2nd. Sidney Crosby would tie the game up just 8 seconds into the third as what seemed to be a harmless shot handcuffed Neuvirth. Couturier would score a powerplay goal to regain the lead for the Orange and the Black, but Jake Guentzal scored his 3rd of the season before Kessel potted the Game Winner.
