Hey guys,

4th and 1 is a no-switch hardcore sim PS4 league from the gameplay to roster management. This is our 4th madden cycle and is in its 13th madden season. We have many long standing owners who contribute to make the league interesting all year long. Below is our forum, league site and rules. Please go through the rules and regulations before applying. 4)Your quick definition of "SIM" gameplay and roster management Gameplay- no exploits, some balance between run and pass. Roster Management- draft for need, no cheat sheets, and sign players to realistic contracts.
5) Reason(s) why you'd be a good addition to our league. I'm pretty competitive, I am respectful to my opponents, I can get my games in reliably, and will add quality content to the league.

2) 7 days a week, Mon-Thr after 5pm and any time Fri-Sun
3) Long standing league with my friends since M10, looking to venture out this year
4)Realistic play style to the situation. Playing towards a team strength (not drags and screens, but how that team would actually play call) and realistic in roster management by not making ridiculous transactions. (trading top players on roster for 1 guy or draft pick like johnny manziel)
5) I'm the type of person if I get involved in something, I get dedicated to it. I can assure you if I'm in the league, I'll always be active

3)Past online league experience and reference (optional) - Previous member of a number of leagues (including 1 here on OS). Have been a part of sim leagues and no switching league and have never had a problem with the rules

Playing realistic football opposed to abusing AI animations and unrealistic stats/playcalling.

I'm very careful and deliberate in trades and hardly make any big trades that will leave my team decimated.

5) Reason(s) why you'd be a good addition to our league.

I think I'm a great and dedicated owner. Easy to contact and follow the rules. I've been in a number of leagues before and had to drop due to a hectic schedule but itching to get back in the swing of things

2)Usual availability - Mon.- Fri. 8:00 p.m - 1:00 AM. Pretty open on the weekends.
3)Past online league experience and reference (optional) - No reference, but used to play in several leagues back in the Madden PC days. Yahoo messenger and all that.
4)Your quick definition of "SIM" gameplay and roster management - Just using common sense. Generally you should have an idea of what's appropriate and inappropriate in Madden. Solid, realistic football.
5) Reason(s) why you'd be a good addition to our league. Because I am competitive, but won't make an *** of myself if I lose. I will get my games in and be punctual.

I'd also love the Bengals if possible, but will take another team.

2) monday-sunday 1 pm-6 pm then 10:30 pm-6 am basically I am available anytime
3) this will be my first online league
4) SIM play is where you don't go for it on 4th & 20 unless its the last play of the half or game, and you play the way the nfl real life plays
5) I am competitive and will respect everyone but I love to have fun and i think i'd be a great addition

2)M-F 6pm-2am EST, Weekends are variable pending what's going on but I could potentially be available all day both days.
3)I've been playing in online madden leagues since the first madden with online play in 2003. I'd say I have probably completed at least 40 seasons since then across multiple leagues. I have been commish in several of the leagues as well over the years.
4)General sim play means if you don't see it on Sunday, you shouldn't see it in league play either. Play games as realistic as possible. Follow the league rules. Respect your opponents. Vary your play calling. Don't exploit the game AI or run nanos. In regards to rosters, play people in correct position on the field. Make transactions realistic.
5) I've commished many seasons in several leagues over the years. I know what is important to make a league cohesive and successful. Being a commish is a thankless job but rewarding when owners cooperate and are active. To give you an idea of dedication, back before connected careers and before leaguedaddy stat tracking...we used to keep stats via excel spreadsheets and post them on the forums after each game so we can have stat leaderboards. Talk about a ton of work. As much as I love being commish, I don't have the time to run a league myself anymore but still would love to play in one. In my most recent leagues, we had advances every 24hrs (a little too hectic) and one every 48hrs which was more my speed. Now that I have a child, I'd like to scale back. 72hr advance are perfect...and if they advance sooner if people are done, even better.

* I see the Vikings are available. I'd love to take them over if they are still open so I can play with AP!!! I'm from Cincy so Bengals are preferred but I'm sure they are not open.

* I know I don't have a lot of posts on opsports, but that is bc I am more of a lurker, and I've never been in an op sports league.

Playing the way the game is played in real life. No dumb trades no running the same play over and over! No exploiting ai imperfections or doing things that would never happen in the nfl!

I am willing to play by the rules and have fun! I was raised to be respectful and I am that way even while playing games I love football and madden and want to enjoy the game with people who feel the same way as me!

Love the Vikings redskins titans bears raiders but am willing to take just about anybody

2) Free After 6pm EST, M-F. Weekends usually around during the day.
3) Can't find a league with consistency or organization.
4) Play the game like you see it on TV, aka Punt and make FG.
5) I try to play like the team I pick, and also I like having a balanced offense not gonna rely on the same plan over and over.

Playing the game the right way, not going for it on 4th downs or running hurry up every play. Also not making unrealistic trades or signing that would never happen in real life.

I play by the rules and whether I'm winning or getting blown out I'm respectful and still try to play as realistically as possible. Id be a low maintenance owner

I'd play as any team, would just like to get into an established league and have fun

We have an opening for Baltimore Ravens. Dumerville was traded for Roddy White and Devonte Freeman, others are all on the team. Week 15 of Season 1.
