To all those in an online league: Interception Discussion

Has anybody found a solution to limit the high number of interceptions?

Please don't come in here and say "you suck stop throwing INT's" if you would like to continue to be a member of Operation Sports, thank you.

I looked on daddyleagues and I have seen extremly high INT #'s across the board in other leagues. Throwing the ball down the field is really risky as DB's are more aggressive to the balls and WR's act as if nobody is within 10 yards of them.

If you have a certain slider setting or difficulty level that would help with this issue please state it in here.

This is a no-switch and restricted lead passing league. If you have any solutions that involve switching or lead passing you can post them but they won't help this league...maybe they will help somebody else.

Just to show some actual numbers:

OS league #1 - In week 11
21 QB's with 15+ INT's

QSFL @ Tradition Sports - Season complete
27 QB's with 16+ INT's
18 QB's have 26+
6 QB's have 30+

OS league #2 - Season complete
22 QB's with 17+ INT's
14 QB's with 20+
4 QB's with 30+

OS league #3 - In week 16
31 QB's with 15+ INT's
21 QB's with 20+
7 QB's with 30+

SOS Crew is the same with 30 QB's with 15+

There is clearly a game play issue that needs to be solved by the community if possible.

We have INTs set at 20, Pass Coverage at 95, and reaction at 40. Seems to have solved it.

We had the same problem,we play no switch so with the WR-CB interaction currently were it's at always going be an problem.

The issue for me is the confidence killing of QB's. They destroy you for throwing INT's and the game play mechanics are geared towards throwing at least 1/game.

@jayenomics: We have similar settings and the DB's FLY across the field to make plays. For example last night I had a game where I had a WR running a deep post. He had the inside open all day and was in front of the CB covering him. I throw the ball and Ed Reed, who was about three yards behind both the WR and CB, becomes a super human and somehow jumps in front of my WR and picks it off. This type of super boost to a DB to get to a pass and intercept it is far too common.

Not that I don't believe you but can you post stats? Do you have success throwing the ball down the field?

Week 9 and y'all already have around 10 guys with 10+ INTs. Those are the same issues we've had, so that's not quite the solution we're looking for

Those guys are also very bad at the game. (no offense) We were more than double that last season. We had 3 guys throw more than 40 int's, before we changed the sliders up.
