New to PC gaming. How do mods work exactly? Will this mod help improve sim stats?

Yes it does, but one of the recent updated lowered completion %

Sabo- do you think we should change the Patriots playbook to a different team which utilizes running QBs more? Cam with Pat's playbook seems to take too many sacks and hardly ever runs.

It has been a long, wild ride here with the Sabo mods. I have been keeping track and updating as they came along and have been riding the same roller coaster as before. Of course I play CPU vs CPU watch and I can see a tremendous difference in the game play with these mods. They definitely improve the game when they work. Keep in mind this isn't exactly what Sabo made these for. I was just looking to see if it could improve the stock game out of the box with how I like to play Madden and it certainly does just that....for a little while.



For some reason no matter what the version is I wind up with the same issue. The mods when I first install them and run them give me beautiful results on the field. Even when I lose (which I don't mind at all) I get good numbers and don't feel cheated. When Drew Brees hits a long bomb to win the game late, well, he's an amazing player and so are his receivers and my secondary is usually 70's OVR players in the first season or two. He's supposed to do that.


For some reason after the 4th or 5th game the mods/game engine goes insane. Qb's pass for high 80's or even nearly perfect completion percentages. Their WR's do not drop anything. For some reason the QB for my team...even though everything is being done by the CPU can't complete a pass 3 yards in front of him. I also happen to suffer from my QB gets the snap, drops back, drops back, drops back, drops back, stands there all day long and then takes a sack. He will sometimes do this twice in the same drive. My opponents never do this. It doesn't matter who my QB is or who the opponent is, or what playbook I use. If it happened once a game or so that would be no big deal. But it happens multiple times a game and sometimes like I said, multiple times in a drive.



When the mods run properly interceptions are pretty rare and you get a good number of batted balls or highly contested passes that get dropped at times. When it goes wonky you will see multiple pick sixes in a game for both teams.


A person I follow on Youtube that has a very popular Madden Franchise story mode going told me that when his game goes nuts like this that deleting and reloading your Madden profile can fix it. I've tried that, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the mods. Sometimes it works, but usually for only a game or two at best and then it goes right back to being insane again. Sometimes I just wind up with a game that will go crazy no matter what I do. I wind up having to sim past it and hope for the best next game.



Without knowing what is causing this, I can't really make any adjustments. I've tried in the past to edit some of the sliders and settings and it never really seemed to improve anything. I also would go to the Discord channel (which I did join before) but now it wants you to verify by mobile number in order to post. I don't use Discord on a cellphone, I use it on a PC. There is no way for me to verify anything.

I'm also doing a CPU vs CPU franchise as Washington with the start today file. My team started the season off like I expected, 1-5 or 2-5. The first 8 or 9 games never saw a team hit more than 28 points. Most games were lower scoring like one would expect. The Skins have okay skill position talent with young QB and a poor OL.

My offense was around 30th in the league that first half of the year. My defense was meh at best, but my DL was amazing as it should be considering Washington has drafted a player their in the first round 4 straight drafts now + Kerrigan was a 1st rounder and is still solid and then Ionnaidis has become a very good player in real life. I have 3 players with abilities starting on my DL and Chase Young through TDawgs progression is a 91 on year 1. My DL is stacked.

Anyways, I was well on my way to a a bad season like I expected. I figured 4 wins was what is get. Well, everything changed when the Lions came to town. My Skins dropped 50+. Then they played the Bengals and went down 28-3 in the first. They came back and won 42-41. They lost to the Cowboys 57-30. I beat the Steelers by dropping 50+. The 49ers welcomed me to San Fran and we put a whipping on them winning 34-6. Then we ran all over the Seahawks in a 35-19 win. My team is now 7-7 and has won 6 of the last 7 I believe it is. Might be 5 of the last 6.

Haskins went from 8 TD and 8 INT to now have 30+ TD and 12 INT with 4,000 yards and is the favorite to be best QB in the NFC. Guice was averaging less than 4 yards per carry the first half of the year. Now he breaks a 50+ yard run off each game and is the league leader in yards and has a YPC above 5.

I definitely get what you're saying with regards to the game just going haywire out of nowhere in CPU vs CPU. The only thing I can think that changed was I upped holding to 55 or 57 and that's when the offense exploded. I've since reset all penalties to 50 and have messed with the project file to nerf some of the user values like run blocking and accuracy bonus to see if my team comes back down to reality. We'll see. All I know is Haskins' tear that he's on has cost himself a top 5 pick LT unless I trade up in the draft. This streak completely threw a wrench in my draft plans.

Just downloaded this mod. Enjoying it so far but does anyone find that interior pressure is arriving almost instantly? wondering if it's just part of making it harder or a quirk of the players I have.

Is cover 2 broken? Safeties continue to drop down field even when a receiver breaks in front of them on a post or corner route
