Why every blade of grass?
Because every single blade of grass is fought over with no quarter given by anyone. DEFENSE is the name of the game, but there are some teams in this league that challenge that notion...
The gameplay is accurate to the era, sim stats are tuned to 1980 actual NFL stats, and you will find smash mouth, in-your-face football with 20th century rules, (16 game schedule, kickoff from 30, extra point from 2 yd line, etc.)
Most of the players are fictional but some are actual USFL and NFL players from the 1970s and 1980s.
Throwback action portraits are set for about 3-6 players per team (download portrait mod from @primetime02454 -see instructions)
* Era specific playbooks include fullback runs where most of the teams are run first and throw the bomb second.
* fixed the audio for 99% of the players so the announcers will either say their first or last name.
