I have a gaming laptop that passes all requirements except it has a 960m GPU. Also, I'm running Windows 8.1. My hope is I could get it to run on lower graphics settings (I know setting crowd to low really helped with nba 2k18), but based on what I've read, I may need to install and dual boot to Windows 10.

I'd hate to setup dual boot, install origin, buy and install the game, and still get crappy performance because of the 960m.

Laptop user here.

I7 7700HQ CPU
16GB DDR5 RAM
Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB GPU
256GB SSD

Runs max at 60FPS no issues at 1920x1080

I wouldnt go back to a desktop now. Yes ive paid a premium and my upgrade process is to buy a new one... BUT I can game in bed, on the sofa whilst pretending to listen to the Mrs... its ease of use, so go for it!

Yeah, I don't think there's any chance you could play the game well with a 960m. According to the UserBenchmark site, it's 40% slower than the GTX 660 which is the minimum GPU.

Laughing at someone trying to game on laptops was a thing in like 2014 or so, not anymore. Laptops can pack a lot of juice now days.

I play on my Surface Book 2 (medium details) when I'm on the road.

Re: Don’t laugh, but is anyone playing Madden 19 on a laptop?

I have a Lenovo gaming laptop I use when I travel. Its a couple years old now but it has i7 6700HQ processor, 16GB RAM, SSD drive and Nvidia GTX 960M 4GB RAM graphics.

Game runs better than I thought it would on this setup. Can easily run 60 fps during plays at midrange graphics settings at 1080p.

Of course my desktop is a beast so I run that at 1440p with 144Hz freesync 2 32 monitor with Ultra settings.
