Anyone make a mod that removes the stupid captain star logos yet?

Obviously the easiest way is to simply adjust the roster and make no one a captain, but I'm talking about a mod that leaves the captain marks on jerseys but just gets rid of the star on the field.


Anyone done this yet? Thanks!

and that seems to work.

Well I've literally been up all night digging through Frosty Editor trying to find the texture asset so I can make it transparent. And nope. Nowhere.



Any word search suggestions? I've tried star, cpatch, captain, and various combinations of those. Dug through every combination of folders I can think of... and nothing.














Sad... I'm sure I'm talking to myself here, but surely I'm not the only one who thinks to star field logo is 100% lame?

^I believe he is talking about the player icon that shows on the field when you are controlling a player, not the jersey patch.

Yeah just the icons. But I might test that to see if it's related. Maybe having that off gets rid of both captain patches and the star? It sucks, but I'd prefer that to the icon.

Okay turning every E_CPatch_On to off for a team does not work.

During CPU vs CPU games, I would like to see all the symbols under the player removed.

If someone just locates the texture, I can just make it transparent and the problem is solved.
