Re: Madden 21 on PC - worth doing?

In my opinion just get the annual EA Play Pro sub for $99 which is the same cost as Madden 21 MVP edition. You then get the MVP edition as part of the subscription along with access to a ton of other EA games. EA Play Pro also gives you the highest version of those games to play and sometimes even DLC depending on how long the games have been around.

You can also do it monthly at $15 for one month to test if you like it, but I recommend doing annual once you decide you like it as it ends up being $80 less a year if you pay the full $99 annual fee up front.

If you are buying Madden for online competitive play though I would go with console as you wont have to worry about hacks.

The PC version has been great, if for the simple fact that the load times are so much faster than console.

Do we have confirmation that only Xbox Series X and PS5 will be getting next gen versions of Madden 21? I can't find any confirmation on the PC version.

It’s not looking good, one from the Frosty team said they would probably take a look last weekend. But another programmer which the Frosty team won’t let join for some reason looked at the Madden 21 files and said there were a lot of changes between M20 and M21.

This all means to me there will not be modding for Madden 21.

Huge bummer if true!

I think it's still worth doing. In the meantime the Franchise editor can be used for global editing ratings or changing things in Franchise mode, if your into that. If your just waiting to try ppls modes you may want to wait to even buy the game at all. We may not get a profile for awhile unfortunately. Its still a decent game without modes right now besides all the negativity, like every yr.

  • Has anyone modded the face editor into custom draft classes in franchise? If so, is it easy to use like the regular face of the franchise editor or do you have to use it on the backend?
  • How is the community at building custom draft classes? Similiar to Xbox/PS?
  • Any mods for improved stat tracking (teams played for and Superbowl wins)
  • Mods for player builds so they're less bulky and more realistic dimensions?
  • Improved presentation like incorporating ESPN/FOX logos?

As well, how hard is it to mod Madden on PC (haven't done this before) and any recommendations on PCs?
Don’t buy it until we know Frosty will be available to mod it. That’s basically the bottom line.
