Madden 21 Pc stuttering

Hope this can help someone who may have encountered the same issue. Madden 20 on PC ran smooth for me (rtx 2080ti, i9900k) on either uncapped or locked 60fps on a 200hz gsync monitor, but Madden 21 was stuttery even on uncapped ~150FPS OR 60fps capped (on either dx11 or dx12)

I ended up installing rtss and capping the frame at really anything 60, 120.. And now the game runs smooth. Something about the in game fps limiter that is not efficient on my system at least? I set Madden to no limit in fps and let Rtss handle the rest.

I also noticed that my FPS dropped about 15FPS between playing in Ultimate Team and playing in Face of the Franchise.

Unsure about the reason for that. Frame Rate definitely isn't stable though.

If you have a GSYNC monitor open the nvidia control panel and set
Monitor technology to GSYNC
And turn on VSync (For GSYNC to activate this need to be set on)
then Low latency mode to Ultra.
This should give you a smooth framerate at any fps, also I noticed it's way smoother on DX11 even if the FPS are the same

Go to Task Manager > Details, then right click M20 and change the priority to realtime.

I am getting good frames during gameplay. Only issue I have is the framerate drops 30 every time I am in the menus and during pregame intros.

Same for me. Gameplay FPS seems fine but I do notice a slowdown during the intros and some menus. Could be worse, I suppose.

I was one that had a bunch of trouble trying to get M20 to run smoothly, so I'll take this.

Update just dropped and fixed the issue for me. Dx12 now runs smooth without requiring FPS limiting by RTSS.

I no longer see the FPS drop in between plays either.
