So what was the point reason that PC didn’t get the Next Gen version?

Consoles are all over. The demand is just sky high also.

I don't think Ray Tracing has anything to do with it. Madden on next gen doesn't even look like it uses any form of the tech unless I'm mistaken. EA was never going to patch the game and give it a next gen update on PC, and they were never going to delay the PC release.

The PC version is a low priority, and given their track record with Fifa that I mentioned earlier in the thread, who really knows if the PC will be the next gen version in the next couple of years or if they'll even continue to PC version.

Fortunately for me I bought a Series S last week and have gotten to experience the next gen version of the game. I do hope 22 on PC is the next gen version so that I can run it at higher frames than the consoles run it at, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

yeah, there really isn't any excuse for 22 not to be the next gen version that i can think of.
