    Sabo's Gameplay Mod - Madden 22 Edition

    Version 1.1

    -Fixed the audibles for all playbooks.
    (HUGE PROPS TO TheBleedingRed21 FOR CREATING THE TOOL FOR ME THAT ALLOWED ME FINISH THIS FAST)

    -Removed the QB archetype change from the gameplay mod. You will have to use the franchise mod OR start today mod in order for it to take effect. Reason being I dont want there to be any confusion on what mod should get higher priority. Now you can give the GP mod highest priority over all the mods and there shouldn't be any clashing.

    Game Style: Sim
    Min and Acc: 11min/no accel but User Preference
    NFL Live Playbooks: OFF
    Ball Hawk: User Pref
    Auto Strafe: User Pref
    Heat Seeker: User Pref
    Switch Assist: User Pref
    Sliders: GAME IS TESTED WITH EVERY SLIDER ON DEFAULT ONLY (INJURY TO 50) YOU ARE WELCOME TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO FIT YOUR SKILL LEVEL

    QB: 0/1
    RB: 75/80
    WR: 70/80
    FB/TE: 60/80
    OL: 0/1
    DT: 75/80
    DE: 75/80
    LB: 70/80
    CB: 60/80
    S: 60/80


    PLAYBOOK OVERHAUL
    MAKE SURE NFL LIVE PLAYBOOKS IS OFF

    -Completely rebuilt every single teams offensive playbook based on real 2021 data usage of their top 25 formations and personnel packages used.
    -Completely rebuilt every single teams defensive playbook based on real 2020 data usage of their personnel grouping and zone, man blitz percentages.
    -Replaced the default under 100 play selection for the AI on 1st down/2nd down and Redzone to include all 400+ plays per book
    -Replaced the default under 50 play selection for the AI on 3rd Long/Med to include all shotgun pass plays
    -Replaced two minute offense in to four specific formations
    -Replaced all goal line plays to include more of a variety
    -Made sure every play is available to be called by the AI depending on the situation.
    -I turned all RPOs into an auto handoff if not thrown bc the AI did a terrible job handling this

    AI SCRIPTS
    -Changed no huddle urgency when trailing to start earlier in the 4th
    -Changed two minute logic on when to spike the ball, call timeout and kick field goal
    -Changed timeouts when trailing from under 2 minutes to 3 minutes in 4th quarter

    GENERAL
    -Revamped fatigue system to trigger more rotations on defense and skilled positions
    -New approach to movement. Tried to replicate ball carrier GEN 5 turn and accel rates without reducing overall speed of other players.
    -Increased AI using fake snaps
    -Increased penalties
    -Increased injuries

    PASSING
    -Added QB archetype changes for franchise mode. Every QB is now an Improvisor. (If existing franchise, must advance week to take effect). This is required because the AI pocket behavior is broken when the other two are assigned to the QB.
    -Removed accuracy adjustment bonus
    -Increased max throw distance from 40 yards to 55
    -Increased lower tier accuracy from 50/60 to 79
    -Increased play action effectiveness
    -Increased QB misfire chances
    -Increased max lead distance
    -Decreased speed trajectories
    -Decreased throw out of sack fumble chance
    -Decreased QB speed during in pocket loco animation
    -Decreased distance, range and scale of inaccurate throws

    BLOCKING
    -Revamped initial defensive move timers
    -Decreased time in pocket
    -Increased collapse pocket penalty
    -Increased cutblock chances
    -Increased reach tackle attempt chance
    -Increased canned animation chance
    -Increased speed of pass rusher
    -Increased Play Action blocking
    -Decreased defender double team win move chance

    RUNNING
    -Increased AI ball carrier special move chance
    -Increased break tackle chances
    -Increased run fit reaction time
    -Increased multiplayer tackles
    -Increased HB/WR fumble chances
    -Decreased user controlled defenders agility
    -Decreased user hit stick success
    -Decreased fumble penalty for running QB
    -Decreased speed of tackle animations

    WR/DB
    -Removed two man catch animations
    -Removed interception bonuses
    -Disabled WR beating press based off speed rating
    -Increased defenders playball penalty who can't see ball
    -Increased good route runner rating 75 to 80
    -Increased sideline catch distance
    -Increased man coverage win chance
    -Increased defenders swat attempt
    -Decreased coverage cut reaction time
    -Decreased defense jump catch distance

    SPECIAL TEAMS
    -Revamped kick meter difficulty settings
    -Decreased yardage AI uses fair catch
    -Increased punts inside the 10 for the AI
    -Increased AI missing FG chances
    -Increased kickoff distance for AI

    Hi Sabo. Love the mods you guys have been doing over the years. Thanks for that. Just hoping there will be decent intel here, as some people on this forum don't use Discord. Main thing probably everyone wants to know is, what on earth are you guys using to mod M22? Anyway, thanks for keeping the mods coming and I'm looking forward to see what you guys can do with the hot mess of M22. lol

      Fifa editor tool. It’s not out, currently in Alpha. A post will be made with instructions when it’s ready. Posts will be updated here albeit might be a little delayed compared to discord.

        Not sure the best place to ask this, but Sabo or anyone else in this community: do y'all remember approximately how many plays can be put into each situation in the game plan?

        And did anyone ever crack the code on how the star system works w/r/t frequency?

              Why EA don't make this the default AI behavior is beyond me. Insanely good on both sides of the ball.

                      Thanks for this, great job as usual! For the 20 version of this mod, you put out an additional document showing the changes from the original in case we wanted to tweak the settings. Can that still be used for this version? I would assume that your changes from OOTB would be different.
