1983 Season!!!

In case anyone is interested, I am currently working on the 1983 season for Madden 15 on my PS4. I am using the editor for Madden 08 and calculating other ratings not covered based on existing game ratings. I am selecting existing players to edit based on height, weight, ethnicity, and similar traits. I am using correct helmets and accessories based on internet research as well as memory (I am 53). I am finished with the Bears, Bengals, Bills, Broncos, Browns, Buccaneers, Cardinals, and currently working on Chargers. It is a slow, time consuming, (at times frustrating) process but I am determined to finish it ASAP. I have played several games and the results are VERY realistic. I will post more updates as available. I hope there are still people interested in Classic NFL seasons. if not, I will still use them myself. Thanks John

Yes, PLEASE for the love of all things good and holy tell us how to get this editor and use it for rosters. I have PS4 and want to create a more 90s based roster similar to what Playmakers did for last-gen Madden...

I am using a version of Madden 08 on my laptop. I downloaded some classic rosters from the football freaks website. I load up Madden 08 on my pc and use the ratings in the player management screen of madden 08 to transfer data to Madden 15 on my pS4. there is a download for an excel spreadsheet that shows which attributes you need to change to get a players overall total to change. This is the site: http://overallgen.blogspot.com/. I choose players to edit based on height, weight, position, years in league, and TRY to match up based on looks (correct hair, features, and of course, black or white). For all rookies from my 1983 season, I create them from scratch in the creation center in Madden 15. I use the internet as well for research. It is time consuming and VERY tedious but it is VERY rewarding when you play these teams. The outcome seems to be accurate. Hope this helps everyone. Thanks, John

1983 is done!!! Is in the vault under HoozierDaddy61. Took FOREVER to complete but finally done. All teams edited with correct starters and depth charts. I edited exiting players based on height, weight, position, years in league, uniform #, and ethnicity. Colleges attended corrected. All rookies created from scratch. Ratings based on Madden 08 ratings and then modified to reflect Overall rating for players. They ARE NOT perfect by any means but still fun to play with. Not a ton of 99 rated players but the overall rating reflect the players ability for that season. Give them a try and let me know what you think. Thanks, John

Can anyone post some ratings of some key Bucs? I am out for the day and just curious how they look. Interested in guys like Richard Wood, Hugh Green, Mark Cotney, Lee Roy Selmon, Jimmie Giles, James Wilder, etc.

Ok so the rosters look great and I realized I will have to do a 32 team control offline.

Here is the deal. I am going to create all coaches from scratch and assign the proper play books. I will use legend coaches if they coached that year as well.

The thing is...32 team control is bugged. So I am going to make ultra sure I set everything up perfectly for every team so they don't sign any free agents. And I will have to play with no injuries...which I don't care about as it is a one season replay.

The key to 32 team control is once everything is set you can not change a thing in regards to schemes...just leave it all alone. Otherwise you will get the infinate game load screen when trying to play games.

I am just sticking to one team and not moving from there coach screen ever.

It better work. I am going to have a master save file so I can always start over with a different team.

Let me know how this turns out. I am not that skilled at game plans and coaching profiles. I am noticing, even with modified slider settings (BTW, YOURS! LOL) the statistics are skewed...nobody passed 75 times in 83!!! Iv'e had 235 yard rushing games!!! Let me know how I can remedy this please.
