I like the idea of the 2002 roster. So the Ravens would have Ray Lewis, Ed Reed right.

If I use the 2002 roster, the Ravens will lose a bit of their roster due to those players being on other teams in 95. However, Lewis, Sharper and Reed will still be there. Jamal Lewis was a rookie in 02 so that will add some punch.

When you create a roster do use the controller to edit all the player info or is there a way to transfer data to computer and edit from there?

I do everything in game. There have been editors in the past for previous Maddens that I have toyed with but have never felt comfortable using. Mostly due to the transfer process. The nice thing about in game edits is that I can see things as I change them.

My overall process includes lots of Excel spreadsheets. I get rosters and stats and work towards setting up some initial "overall" ratings based on stats. Generally, I have several hours worth of out of game work getting everything set up in Excel. Then when I get into the game I have those spreadsheets ready to go. It takes anywhere from 1-2.5 hours per team in game. I start by moving people around based on experience(as close as possible), skin color, and size(again as close as possible). I give them the correct numbers during this phase. Once I have that complete for a team, I go back and edit names, equipment and ratings for that team.

That is far more information than you asked for, but figured I would let you in on the "inside" secrets. LOL Though it is a lot of work, I really enjoy creating the rosters. My wife thinks I'm crazy! She is probably right! But enjoy trying to create accurate representations of past seasons. I will say, not to brag on myself, but I feel my rosters play far superior to the default Madden rosters. EA should fire Donny and hire me. LOL

I wish they offered a classic season addition. Agreed, yours and other classic seasons play out better.

It's a shame that Madden doesn't offer the ability to transfer seasons from one year to the next as in MLB. Remaking rosters every year is so time consuming and I give you guys much credit for doing it year after year.

Re: 1995 Roster PS4

Here is the list of Playbooks, coaches and play calling percentages. A couple of notes. A few teams have more than one playbook listed. I leave it to you to make the judgement call. This is mostly due to neither playbook being totally accurate. For example, the Lions ran a singleback, 3 wideout, 1 tight end most of the time but also 4 wideout (normal Run and Shoot). The reason I have the Joe Gibbs playbook for several teams is that to my knowledge it is the only true singleback playbook. If someone knows of another please let me know and I will see what fits best.
