Madden Share Paywall

I am planning to buy Madden 16 for Xbox One. However I do not have Xbox gold. The last Madden i bought was Madden 25 and locking roster updates behind the gold paywall left me with a bitter taste. Are Madden Share and official rosters available to players with a silver account?

If so, what about on PS4? Are roster updates and Madden Share locked behind PS+? This will greatly influence my decision to purchase the game.

It's considered an online function so both are locked behind the XBO/PSN+ subscriptions being required to use them unfortunately.

U don't need PS+ to get roster updates or use Madden roster share on ps4.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like PS4 version for me with hopes that the downloading issues get fixed.
