Just a suggestion. All the players either suspended for the season or injured for the season. Put them in the FA pool but decrease their attributes so they won't be signed by the CPU. And after the second year the user can adjust attributes and resign them. Just an idea.

It feels like that would create extra re-editing work for a majority that may not prefer this approach.

When you start your CFM, before you chose your team, select "Use Active Roster" (or something along those lines), but make sure to manually load the roster first!
