Was looking at some youtube vids for Madden25...seems like there was a ton of classic teams created and available for that release.

Would that be considered the best fairly recent release for classic team use? I don't want to go all the way back to like 2005.

Also, if I had Madden25 is there even a way to get classic rosters nowadays?

Yep madden 25 was a great year for retro roster releases. The retro content in the game, combined with an external editor makes it the best choice to implement a classic football roster IMO

I am not 100% sure, but I think the online services for M25 are still working. If I get a chance I will load it up today and check.

The Madden 25 servers are up, at least for XBOX360. So I would imagine they are up for all systems. You can still download rosters. However, I tried to download a couple of classic rosters and it said that the creator had taken them down. I did successfully download a 1993 roster to make sure it worked.

There are a lot of classic rosters on there of varying degrees of accuracy and rating scales.

I have a 1985 roster on there. It is not as good as my more current rosters, but it works well overall.
