Noob Q: Which roster to use?

Hey guys,

I'm a huge NBA 2k player, but recently got Madden 17 and want to get back into Madden! I fully edit and customize my own 2k rosters because I like my rosters as accurate as possible. I don't have the time or knowledge to edit an NFL roster though, so I need some help!

Which roster will you guys use at to start your offline franchise? How is the default Madden roster?

Edit: Also, which are some good sliders for a long-time all-pro Madden player? Thanks for any help!

Until I bought Madden 17 a week or so ago, I hadn't played or owned a Madden game since 2012. I'm looking to start my offline franchise as well. I'm going to wait and download the official 53 man rosters that are going to be released this Friday. The only thing I'm not certain about is whether or not the extra players will be present during the preseason games or if I start with the 53 man roster right off the bat.

The poster rovert seems to have a good and popular simulation roster for the PS4. You can read about the details in the roster forum section.

If I remember correctly from Madden 13 or 25 (can't remember which was the last I played), all 53 guys will be on the roster but they will fill the rest of the preseason roster out with random players that you have to cut down to 53.

I'm just kind of skeptical to use the default Madden roster because I know in NBA 2K the default roster isn't as detail oriented as I like my roster. I'm not sure how the EA roster team is though.

I use the roster file named "EA Sports" it is the top download. 53 man roster that is more updated than the official roster. Just sort by downloads and there you go.

Xbox1 there are a couple good community roster downloads you can get going with.

I know MDFL, myself and one other have 3 roster updates that are constantly being edited daily.

After Friday I'll be uploading a revamped version.
