PS4 M17 Unretired Roster

Being a 49er fan I was more than sad when Patrick Willis unexpectedly retired a couple of years ago. Especially since he could still play at a high level. A couple of more high profile players have retired since then with seemingly a lot of gas left in the tank. Of course I am speaking of Calvin Johnson and Marshawn Lynch. Well Madden gives us the opportunity to give us the chance to say "what if" and I made this roster accordingly.

The rule is simple. I will unretire a player if I think that player could still contribute at a high level in the NFL, basically be able to be a starter which Willis, Johnson, and Lynch could still probably do. So this means no bringing Jerry Rice out of retirement at age 54. Or Darrell Green at 56 even though I heard he still runs a sub 4.5 40! Lets be a little realistic here.

By request (from my nephew) I have added Pat White and Steve Slaton because he loved that duo at WVU and frankily they technically can still play yet have low ratings (Slaton just recently retired and White still plays in the CFL).

I added Jahvid Best into this mix because he had a promising career cut short due to concussions. He obviously has the speed for those that followed the Olympics and Cal Bears football.

The one I am debating putting in here is Tim Tebow.

So if you are interested look it up.

Awesome concept. As a cal fan I love the addition of best as I loved watching in college. I vote yes on tebow. Another suggestion is : Chris borland

Percy Harvin isn't retired. But he plays for the Bills, so I guess that's the next closest thing.
