I will be using the regular rosters, without scabs. However, scab players will be used to create the "expansion" teams and as some free agents. I will not take too much care in creating the scab players as far as ht, wt, exp, or skin color (expect for guys I know). Of course they will also be rated accordingly, since they are scabs, they will play like it.

Will announcers say created player names this year? I really miss being able to have commentary turned on in retro rosters

Won't know for sure until the game comes out. EA stated that they added a bunch of names for the announcers to use in game, though that was in reference to CFM rookies. I am hopeful that translates into the announcers using the correct names all of the time. But we shall see.

An audio name database similar to NBA 2k or MLB the show would be a god send

There is really no reason that Madden cannot use the names of nearly any player we as users type in. It was in Madden for years. I just recently pulled up Madden 10 and Madden 11 to look at a few things from rosters I made back then. In both games the announcers used the names of players I edited. So when Kevin Mack carried the ball, the announcer said, "Mack up the middle for a short gain."

I can understand the CPU having trouble with unusual names or names that are not already in the game somewhere, but other than that there is no excuse.

Did you do any classic rosters for Madden 25 ?

I did a 1985 roster on Xbox360. I used the same process I use now, no outside editor. It came out pretty solid, though if I ever redo 1985 I will make some changes.
