Classic, Custom Offensive/Defensive Playbooks and Replicating The WC Offense.

any one know what formations to use to replicate the old-playbooks ? why the heck would EA remove pro-form; near; and far from the PB .... really sad to me.

Split backs is probably the best replication of the Near and Far formations. Entire playbook should be under center, no Shotgun formation. Heavy on two backs, one tight end, two receiver sets.

I know you may not want to wait, but I will be creating several playbooks to go along with my 1987 roster. West Coast will certainly be included in that.

I have not played around with M18s playbooks yet, but I know they decided to remove the generic playbooks from the playbook creation group. I find that decision to be ridiculous and unnecessary. But, oh well, there is little I can do about it; so I will work with the tools given.

I hear ya. I am working on a 4-3/3-4 Defensive PB for current day, as well as a Man Coverage Defensive PB for your 1987 roster. Hopefully, your 2nd Classic Roster is from an ERA with passing teams, as it would be a shame to not see the Rams Offense and Moss light things up with the pass game. You are the leader here, and I will follow. Do you know anywhere we can find accurate info. about current day blitz tendencies, as well as the blitz percentages of teams from 1987 ? I want to get the stars set appropriately for these D-PB's.
