I'm one of those stat freaks who is editing the current roster to make it as accurate as humanely possible. I will write a list of the current teams I have done, so you guys know how close I am to having it uploaded. I'll update this with my PSN when it's finished so you can find it.

What I'm doing:

-Working on Defenses first, I have a giant spreadsheet of points allowed per game, and yards allowed per game. Points allowed is more important than yards allowed, so I add the PAPG rank each team has, twice, with the yards allowed per game average, and divide by 3.

What this does is give me the defensive overalls. Example, Pittsburgh has the best PAPG+PAPG+YAPG rank in the NFL. That means the average overall of each starter on Pittsburgh in Madden 18, will be higher than any other team. Indianapolis is dead last, so their average overall on defense will be the lowest.

-I'm doing the same offensively, but wanted to start with defense first.

-The way I find my overall, is I add the DL ratings up, divide by the number of DL starters (depending on what type of defense they run). I add that to the 3 or 4 linebackers overall, and the 4 defensive backs overall. This is how I get my defensive overall. EXAMPLE: 82 overall d-line, 81 overall lb, 84 overall secondary means I take the last number in each rating (2, 1, and 4) and add them together. That makes an 87 overall defense.

Hopefully you guys enjoy this, because I've spent so much time on it. The defense and offense ratings will be based on the stats of the NFL today (Oct 27). The INDIVIDUAL stats (guys like CJ Mosley who I make one of the top linebackers based on tackles, Pass defended, INT and so on, are updated as of again, Oct 27. So Calais Campbell, who leads the league in sacks will have a pretty high overall.

-I based Houston's defense off the first 4 games, since their defense went downhill once Watt and Mercilus went down for the season.

-I used the default rosters to avoid the injuries. I did make every roster move. I only made a few rookies (95% were in the game anyways). Harrison Butker for one I haven't made yet (KC Chiefs).

Very good work. I have edits scales that will get your sim stats almost exact.
ITP and I have done much work in those areas.
You only need to edit specific ratings, from default to accomplish this.

Ok, so I see that everyone is creating rosters and uploading them to Madden 18. I was wondering if there is a website or an app on the computer that you use to create the roster or if you just take the time and do it in the game?
