1970 roster - first year of merger

Can't think of anything to dislike. Roster is great. Maybe they're jealous they couldn't create a roster of this quality. I'm sure all of us old guys appreciate your work. Nothing like seeing real football brought back to life.

I get dislikes from time to time too for my season rosters. I don't know if they do not like my ratings, my choice of year, or they just want to dislike other people's works. Can't please them all. LOL

I Think it is mostly they just don't like anything more than 2-3 years old ........ kinda their realm of reality !

Thanks guys! Yeah...1970 roster is a niche file for sure. I am glad a handful of you guys appreciate it. That makes it worth while.

I do take a bit of a different route on ratings and traits so maybe that also plays into it. I do Play Now so Franchise is not a concern for me. As you guys know, I don't set colleges and years of service. I would love to set years of service but editor prohibits. I wish they would just open up all field for God's sake.

Maybe PC version is way to go?

Just a note while finishing up the Oilers. I had previously downloaded sabos cpuoldschl playbook and think he did a real nice job with it. I assign it in the Profile to use for both teams when watching cpu vs cpu.

Idid remover many of the Slant plays as they are called too often and are too successful. Also removed a bunch of screen plays. If it is still in vault download it and see what you think for old style classic football. If you dl it, the above mentioned plays will still be in the book.

Oilers are in the vault.

That completes all original teams that existed in 1970. I did not touch any of the other teams in the roster. This roster set will not hold up in Franchise mode because of that. Shout out to Iteachpercussion whose awesome 1985 roster I used as base for these edits.

I also uploaded my revisions to sabos excellent oldschl playbook. Take it for a spin especially in cpu vs cpu mode.
