H-town glad you said that I’m gonna halt work on my roster and download yours like I said before you are the by far best roster creator I’ve seen on the community as far as detail and accuracy of creations no one really cares if the players birthday is accurate like wats that got to do with anything I’m sure you would agree lol.. but drop a line when your finished you saved me a lot of work I still needed to do actually greatly appreciated like you I had no intention of making a full roster with all the time it would require but seeing Mar asking for money for downloads I completely disagreed with so I started working on one glad you’re gonna make one instead ������

I wasn't insulting you by not having birthdays in there.. it's just a simple step that I included when creating players to have their ages right.. if I could not get exact birthday I put yr right so their age would be close.. NONE of the players are 20 yrs old.. I think there was only one ever drafted at 20 yrs old..

It's just a small thing some people would care about and perhaps most would not depending on if you do dynasties or not.. similar to the contract thing with free agents.. my thought always is if you can make something more accurate and there wasn't too much more effort involved why not do it??

These are the things a TEAM could come together and do.. from experience of working on past roster files all this comes together and makes a better roster.

also I'm not asking for Money.. I simply made a place where people can donate if they would like.. Houston did not want to get involved because of time commitments and the immense work that goes into it.. what does TIME equate to??? MONEY.. I see nothing wrong with throwing someone a tip or donation for doing something you didn't want or able to allocate the time to do!! I don't mow my grass because paying someone else to do it for $40 is worth more to me than spending my time doing it myself.

The two main files on PS4 file share have a place for "tips" and people on this message board said that the file I uploaded a video of was better..

also there is a file on the Xbox1 which they provide a standard file that is behind and not as accurate then a premium file for $4.99 which is updated daily.

I understand some people don't agree with it and that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, opinions, and approach. As am I. But to act so shocked like creating a space for donations has never been done..

All I ever said was that I had considered over the years creating a place for Madden Content as it's the only game I play.. So I did MaddenMavens on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube.. and I said that once there was enough support (FOLLOWERS and likes mainly, and possibly some donations (there's still been none, which I also mentioned giving you a %)) and enough rookie numbers released.. Then I would release the file version 1..

I really wanted to work with both of you and encouraged a team approach.. AGAIN I have NO idea why Houston had no time to invest into creating even ONE prospect yet encouraged us to do so, kinda felt manipulating, and now he does have time.. I also have NO idea why you wanted the roster file on draft night and did not want to continue to edit players together to reduce the work, kinda felt like I was used to create about 85 prospects VERY ACCURATE prospects in 5 days time to get to 250 prospects and you thought you could finish the project without me and it would be "your roster".. yet now you both want a roster file that's most accurate.. if we all just worked together passing the file around it would have made much more sense.. but there seems to be some reason you guys can't work with a team...

First... What is so hard to understand about someone NOT wanting to create draft prospects? You are SO disappointed and upset and literally have a major issue with that. It makes NO sense.

I remember a few years ago when I was about to start making a roster I texted my brother and cousin, both who played Madden. I asked if they'd possibly be able to help create guys. Both responded with no, they don't have the time. At no point do I ever remember being upset with them. They have LIVES. It's not for everyone. Yet, I still texted them when I uploaded a new roster/update so they could enjoy it.

I stated on the very 1st thread I WON'T BE DOING IT THIS YEAR. How are you able to find the audacity to even say "I don't understand" or continue talking about how it makes no sense? It is what it is. I made the decision I was DONE. I didn't have what it took anymore. Period. You say "well you're working on one now". FOR ME!!!!!! I only uploaded extremely accurate and detailed rosters. Didn't plan on doing that for everyone this year/anymore.

You see the comments here. Many feel my rosters were the most accurate of all available ones uploaded on PS4. I put in the work. I RETIRED from it. Didn't WANT to do it anymore. What's wrong with that? Where's the problem?

You talk about making rosters for several years for "yourself and friends". Have you EVER uploaded any for the community? I have. My record speaks for itself.

A guy says he's NOT making rosters this year.... he's just gonna' fix someone else's (me). A guy creates 60ish prospects (CJ) and then starts writing he's DONE and wants to turn it over. What you and CJ did was a perfect example of inefficiency. Just "grabbing a roster and working on it" without communication and planning. Not what is going on now. What is going on now happens every year - by hundreds of guys. They choose a roster they want to edit/make their own. Unless they're happy with someone's roster. I never was. Which is why I made my own. No one will ever convince me a team working on a roster will be better than a good roster maker working on one alone. No way. How did the block shedding thing happen? How did the prospects looking like Hulk happen? Almost every one of them with Nike pads? Nearly every one not as "normal" for the penalties? How did the "team" of you two not catch that? 'Cause it's hard to catch when two minds are working on one roster. (sorry, CJ... not busting you up.. you did a GREAT job for your 1st time ever creating rookies)

I have a tip for YOU. And it works in LIFE. When you feel you are "encouraging" someone to do something they've clearly stated they don't want to do or are not interested in, the outcome likely won't be good.

As far as me working on a roster now, the ONLY reason I am is for the guys. The guys that keep coming here looking for either my roster - and didn't realize from the 1st thread I wasn't making one - or come here hoping for news on yours being released. It's not inefficient. It's only 'cause you haven't uploaded. I would continue using mine - teams the Cowboys play only being done, which is fine for me. I'm ONLY working on the rest to upload for the community.

I appreciate the offer of help... knowing me, once I get it done and uploaded... the not having 42 guys will probably eat at me and I may end up knocking those out too lol... but, I may take you up on it if not)

Did they say no and was it always no? Or did they say maybe, lets do it, no lets not do it. Let's only do it if it's with my original roster file. No Let's not do it. The problem is you started a forum titled PS4 M19 Offseason Roster... and I get it you didn't want to do it but you started a forum and apparently are great at it. I don't know I've never seen your rosters before. I didn't make a draft file last year because I hit around 30 created prospects and was Capped off and Figured that was not enough to get a whole draft class..

I have been a member of operation sports since 2004. It says you've been since 2010... I used to create NCAA files and two years did the ENTIRE NCAA football game myself.. and yes they were shared with the community and I still use those on Xbox360 and have since transferred them into the 2014 game for people.. Then I joined a team and completed naming the files a few other years.. I used to create the draft file from NCAA with those roster and then transfer them into Madden back when you could export each team for play now..[/quote]

The Mental block is that I created approximately 85 prospects from Monday-Thursday draft night.. then he tried pushing me out of the project, BUT wanted "his file".. if he didn't want to create any more prospects that was fine.. but if he wanted the file and was going to edit players (as we clearly know there was much editing still needed).. Why didn't he want to continue to work with someone who just created 85 prospects in 4 days time??? why was he now pushing me out of the project??

I was actually here conversing with you about the project and we were discussing the contract situation. Which again from my perspective like having the actual birthdays/ages, why not have the contracts right? If your rosters are "EXTREMELY ACCURATE".. why not add that bonus feature.. after all they are "for the guys".. the birthdays and the contracts are two added features which are not much more time consuming.... and CJ "Popped" in after this.. But yes I did encourage him BUT I was ALSO READY TO WORK which is proven once he returned over being mad someone stole his roster.. which you totally understood cause apparently it happened to you as well.. and he wanted to stop.. then WHY DID HE EVEN WANT THE INCOMPLETE FILE AND WANT ME OUT OF THE PICTURE???

inefficient?? dude you wanted to keep chatting on the forum and get all excited about doing it but not actual do it.. like ok.. I get it you didn't want to create guys its a pain.. but then sometimes you kinda did then didn't.. but we were just wasting time talking about it.. CJ and I got down to work.. texted back and forth and kept the roster file working as much as possible.. with one more person it would have been even easier.. we didn't need some schedule.. we just needed to have instant communication to organize the work and ensure someone was working on the file whenever possible.. and it was efficient.. we got a file with 255 prospects by draft night..

And I COMPLETELY disagree.. if you actually joined the project you would have caught the hulk hogan thing you mention which I haven't even taken the roster into a game all i did was WORK on it.... I did catch the Block shed for Corners... I'm the one who told you that... and the Corners I created were made correctly. and if you joined the project you could have specialized on equipment which could have been done at ANY TIME.. you could have texted us seen if available and gotten to work on equipment.. because I've never been a huge equipment guy.. I quickly look at google images while searching other info.. but the prospects are limited to their colleges brand and most change in NFL.. I just ensure it's close and in the old days of NCAA would just make sure they didn't look to be wearing retro equipment like used to be the default on NCAA..

I think these two paragraphs answer themselves.... you're literally making a roster file.. you made a forum about making a roster file from the beginning.. when you contemplated making a roster file it HAD to be your base roster file...

You probably should have thoroughly read through the posts then, no? I stated numerous times that I decided to create MaddenMavens social media accounts and was looking for followers (8 so far) and provided a place for donations.. If I wanted money to release it I would be selling the roster.. it's really quite simple.

and the other thing that's made me less interested in releasing it is all this petty negativity.. I get it it's a free content world and everyone wants instant gratification these days.. but the main reason is the negative experience with you and CJ..

You're wrong.. I've done that before.. what's different about this year is the way things worked out with you two. That's the bottom line.. I have text messages from CJ of him telling me he was good after I send him the file on draft day that I just created 30 prospects in a day on.. he was cursing and telling me it's "his roster" after I spent countless hours contributing.. now associate your name with someone like that all you want but video game or not that's no way to communicate with someone..

The Bottom line is if you just participated from the beginning to contribute actual work and CJ didn't abandon/want me out of the project we all would have a roster file very accurate and NONE of us would have that feeling that you have after a roster project that makes you dread the next roster project.. I get that you didn't want to create the prospects but creating a few here or taking the file and doing something would have reassured those already doing work and reduced the majority work going to one person.. and then CJ's awkward I don't want to do anymore work with you but "I want "my" incomplete roster file".. just kinda felt awkward to me especially with both of you making a big deal about people stealing your rosters.. felt like I was being pushed out of the way after doing alot of work.. yet there was still a lot of work to do and we could have all shared in that work.. which was my stance from the beginning and throughout!!..

The Bottom line is if you just participated from the beginning to contribute actual work and CJ didn't abandon/want me out of the project we all would have a roster file very accurate and NONE of us would have that feeling that you have after a roster project that makes you dread the next roster project.. I get that you didn't want to create the prospects but creating a few here or taking the file and doing something would have reassured those already doing work and reduced the majority work going to one person.. and then CJ's awkward I don't want to do anymore work with you but "I want "my" incomplete roster file".. just kinda felt awkward to me especially with both of you making a big deal about people stealing your rosters.. felt like I was being pushed out of the way after doing alot of work.. yet there was still a lot of work to do and we could have all shared in that work.. which was my stance from the beginning and throughout!!..[/quote]
