What’s the formula for setting ages on players?

Like if the player turns 22 in September do I set him at 22 or 21?
What’s the cut off date when creating a draft class?
When do players age up?

I would say if their birthday is before September I would change it. So if ur creating them now at 22 but they turn 23 in August I woukd just create them as 23

I do it in years. If I am doing a classic draft and say it is 1992 and their birthday falls in 1969, then they are 23. They were drafted at 22, but turn 23 a few months later. I don't even look at their birth month.
