ARROGANCE & IGNORANCE ......

I agree with most evaluations of Madden 21 being an improvement from Madden 20.

However, quickly reviewing the Player models and ratings I see virtually no changes from Madden 20.

Thus, I am forced to question the Madden development team - " WHY - No Roster transition from Madden 20 exist ? " ....

This appears to me, as a 40+ year retired IT technical professional, would likely be a days effort of one IT professional at most.

Also, the exclusion of a simple Export/Import function of Players between & within Rosters of the same version would take like 1/4 of a day effort of one IT professional.

These two simple additions would save countless months of effort put into this game of the many dedicated Classic Roster makers which add so much enjoyment to so many of us.

THUS ---MY Conclusion can ONLY be:

ARROGANCE & IGNORANCE ..... PREVAILS on the Madden Development Team.

I also wonder if the required "work from home" and less employee involvement from EA had anything to do with it. Limited to only 5 members in the studio on CPUs at any given time (according to reports) for limited hours. Madden 21 was done on a decreased size of personnel.

The inability to have NFL players come in at ease or at their convenient schedules to fill out paper work, get rights through the NFLPA and everything else checked off by a given deadline (another reason Javeon Clowney is currently not in the game and several lower tier players are left without visuals etc).

They not only had to work on Madden 21 from home quite often but the development team also has been tasked with working on the next-generation console version of Madden as well.

Don't get me wrong I'm frustrated with a few bugs and glitches I've already come across just today alone, but beyond that I also understand what they were up against in most aspects.

Now ..... I guess I can add: After completion of my 1st weeks Franchise game the game encountered and ERROR (apparently during the auto save process) and now it can't be recovered ..... so ADD: INCOMPETENCE !

NO LUCK with Rebuild Database as game crashed again after Week One Franchise game .........

Guess they didn't have time to Test Franchise Mode due to Covid-19 ....

Will have to wait for a patch.

But, I honestly have to say I've enjoyed the games played that I've watched.

Here's the best explanation I could find. Seems to be a Slow Sim problem with CPU vs CPU style games which both you and I perform. Definitely looks like we will have to wait on a patch.
