I am creating a Bobby Layne #22 for The Detroit Lions, but I want to give him ratings that make sense...What would you do?

What would be good ratings for Layne for Break Tackle, Throw On The Run and Toughness?

These oldtime players, especially in 40's and 50's often played 2 ways. They were not real fast for most part, but toughness rating should be in 90's. Break sack and tackle high as well. And even tackle rating should be high, Was a different, more physical game in many ways than it is today.

Today the players are like freight trains crashing into one another at super high speeds. Back then, game not as fast but tackles were just as hard and often dirtier.

I don't get hung up too much on the OVR because to properly rate and reflect many players, it does not feed well into how today's Madden calculates OVR.

Also, the old school guys had stronger arms it seems. Give them higher deep accuracy so they will throw deep more. Accuracy should be significantly lower. 80 deep throw, 70 medium and 70 short. They weren’t very accurate because they threw deep more back then. A lot of those guys threw for under 50%. Even the good ones.

Jerwoods do you have an e-mail address? I want to make all time rosters for every franchise and I'm sure I'm going to need help with more ratings.
