Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

My goal for today is as follows:

* Since I'm testing in CFM but this isn't my real Franchise, I am going to play...I'm going to sim to other weeks of the season against more formiddable opponents and see what kind of offense the CPU puts up against me. I have been testing exclusively with the Patriots against the Bill & Jets in weeks 1 & 2 so far and those are 2 crap teams with rookie QBs and not very dynamic offenses.

* I'm going to drop CPU INT to 1

If I see the CPU offense putting much more pressure on me with some good offenses - then I will feel much more confident that we are in a good place with these sliders and we can really start to move forward with our base set.

Thoughts?

How is the CPU rushing attack against you? Are they getting a good push or do we have to make changes for the CPU and for human for them to have an effective run plays.....

It's OK.....SPiller had 70+ yards against me and Jackson had 30 i think...so roughly 100

I had Ivory break a 30+ yd run

We will know more when I face some tougher opponents today....we are getting very close, please keep testing and making recommendations

Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

Played my first game using these last night. I was the Broncos going up against the 49ers (first pre-season game). Ended up winning 30-27 with a game winning field goal to end it.

I'm actually really satisfied with how it plays. Great job and can't wait to see some more edits over the next few days.

First game of the season. Some notes.

-Still a lot of WR drops. A couple by my receivers. (I don't go for the catch with them cuz it makes games too easy.) A lot by the CPU. I know it was said not to touch CPU catch but has anyone tried bumping up their catch?

-I struggled to get a good run game going and a lot of McCoy's yards came in garbage time but it felt like I was failing to hit the holes and not that sliders were off. The CPU had 0 run game though unless Griffin ran.

-Moss was killing me but he got hurt twice during the game and missed time but not sure if that's the injury slider or just that Moss is being a pansy since he was only injury.

-Seemed like Griffin didn't know how to throw sometimes. He just stood there and got sacked. CPU sacks were right since I just try to make too much happen sometimes and end up taking sacks instead of forcing the pass.

-Vicks accuracy seemed correct. He would hit easy passes but would overthrow some receivers and throw behind them. My int was on a slant to Maclin. Fletcher made a jump on the ball that NFL players would make and it cost me. Griffin threw all 3 picks poorly. He threw 2 into double coverage and the third was an under throw on a deep route. Was legit interceptions.

-I was struggling to find offense in the 1st and then in the second I threw a curl to Jackson that the DB tried to jump but missed and there was no safety over top so it turned into a big gain that jump started the offense.

-Overall played pretty well just need to fix the WR drops and the CPU running game.

Edit: Noticed I switched the teams for the box score stats. But you guys get the gist.

Not in the slider section. I believe it's in the coaching options section from the home screen before you enter your franchise. (At work now - can't look)
