One other thing that I think is may be an issue for people....you're going to get a better challenge on normal speed than slow speed. The higher speed seems to not only affect how quickly players move, but also how quickly they process information.

Example, playing as the Rams in a offline CFM against the Cardinals. Started on slow, was killing them 20-0 in the 2nd Quarter; their offense was anemic and virtually every pass thrown was a safety valve. I also pretty much had my way when on offense as the defenders were always slow to react.

Started over on Normal speed and lost 31-7. They were throwing downfield, making plays and their defense was very reactive.

Just food for thought....I'd like others to see if their findings are similar.
Interesting theory......I may test this out after trying to get things ironed out on SLOW - I just feel like the game feels better on slow

Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

I have been fiddling around with the sliders and making adjustments on the fly

I think I may have finally made a breakthrough.....I've had the CPU break a few long runs and have also had the CPU throw the ball deep with more regularity.

I am now re-starting a game with the Patriots @ Panthers and will post the box score when finished

I will play this game with the following adjustments and will update post #1 of the thread with the updated sliders after the game if I am pleased with the overall results

Tried these but way too many drops by cpu and no penalties by either team.

Don't abandon them yet (we are just getting started testing these out and they are not even close to being the final set we will use for season/franchise play......I'm making major progress and am in the 4th quarter of a great game right now.

I'll be posting stats and observations with updated sliders after the game

Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

EXHIBITION GAME

New England Patriots @ Carolina Panthers

The game was tied 10-10 at halftime as both teams were strong defensively early in the game. The 3rd quarter saw each team move the ball effectively but both Brady and Newton threw key interceptions in the red zone and we went to the 4th quarter tied 10-10 with New England driving the ball and the Patriots would begin the 4th quarter with 1st & goal at the Carolina 3 yard line. Stevan Ridley punched the ball in off tackle for a TD to give the Patriots a 17-10 lead. New England took the game over in the 4th quarter on their way to a 27-17 win.

SLIDER NOTES
* The CPU did attempt to throw the ball downfield - both interceptions came on deep balls

* The CPU still had more drops than I want to see (10). I'm going to increase the CPU catch to 100 and see how that goes

* The CPU did run the ball fairly effectively (might need just a very slight boost but need a bigger sample size)

* The game had between 130 and 140 total snaps which is a good number

* PLEASE CHECK POST #1 OF THE THREAD FOR THE UPDATED SLIDERS WITH ADJUSTMENTS MADE AFTER THIS GAME (THE SLIDERS ARE GETTING CLOSER TO WHERE WE NEED THEM TO BE)

Not as many as I would like.....I'm going to work on getting more penalties and I'll be working on Auto-Sub settings as well.

Main focus right now is the feel/flow of the game and getting the stats/gameplay as realistic as possible
