Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

Gave these a try with the Broncos, played fairly well. Threw 3 picks with Peyton the first was a getting used to the sliders pick over the middle on my second or third throw of the game. The last two didn't come till the 4th one on a deep shot to Demaryius and the second on my first game-winning drive attempt, so all my fault and really I should have only thrown the one.

First off here's some things I did special.

- After seeing a couple quick sacks early I switched my gameplan to conservative and only rushed 4 with the exception of bringing Von Miller on occasion.

- I for the most part implied the no switch rule on defense, except on a few Int attempts.

- Almost strictly played with a LB in coverage, with the exception of the few times I blitzed Miller.

Now to the game. I got the ball first and after throwing the early pick the Ravens got the ball and drove down the field before the defense finally stepped up and forced the field goal.

After getting the ball back we drove down fairly easy with the run and pass with Moreno capping it with a short TD run to give us a 7-3 lead. After a few stalled drives on both sides the Ravens managed to get another FG in to end the 1st with the score 7-6 Broncos.

The 2nd started off with us putting a good drive down to around midfield when the Ravens D completely wiffed on a PA allowing Peyton to hit a wide open Julius Thomas on a post route for a 49 yard score with Thomas running over a defender at the 1. Both teams would add on FGs to end the 1st half with the Broncos leading 17-9.

The 3rd was all about the Ravens as they scored 11 unanswered points on the strength of a Dennis Pitta redzone TD catch and yet another Justin Tucker FG to take their first lead of the game 20-17.

The Broncos got and early FG from Prater in the 4th after stalling out in the redzone to tie it up at 20-20. After both teams had a couple drives stall out the Ravens managed to put together a good enough drive for Justin Tucker to nail a 58yd FG to give the Ravens a 23-20 lead with about 2:30 to go. So Peyton gets the ball looking to drive the Broncos down the field for at least the game tying FG when he throws a pick around the Den 40yd line with around 2:20 or so to go, the Den defene stood strong however and held the Ravens to a FG Tuckers 6th of the game.

So down 6 under 2 minutes to go and Peyton gets the ball back with another chance for a game-winning drive. So it's strictly pass time for the Broncos needing a TD to win the game, and Peyton puts together a beautiful drive including a 26yd pass to Decker and gets the Broncos down to the 6yd line with around :35 seconds to go. So it's first and goal from the 6 there's 4 WR spread out in the gun with Peyton and Moreno in the backfield, Peyton has done a great job of leading the Broncos downfield on the strength of his arm and the defense is spread out expecting pass so the experienced veteran QB wisely audibles to the draw play and Moreno runs it hard dragging a defender into the endzone with him giving the Broncos a 27-26 lead with :29 seconds to go!!!

However the game is not over the Ravens still have a chance with a hot handed Flacco and 2 timeouts. The Ravens move the ball quickly with a short pass out of bounds then a huge gainer over the middle to Thompson getting them all the way to midfield with :11 seconds and a timeout left. The next play is a medium pass intended for Marlon Brown easily setting up the game winning FG when Rodgers-Cromartie comes out of no where and grabs Flacco's only pick of the day to seal the deal for the Broncos!!!

How did you switch your game plan to conservative?

Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

Using gameflow when selecting the play hit left to switch to conservative and right to switch to aggressive.

Also using gameflow a great way I've found to split carries between backs is on the first play on offense go to formation and every other grouping on a formation go ahead and sub in your second back then go back to gameflow.

So using the Bengals for an example go to singleback formation and leave Green-Ellis on the first grouping then sub Bernard in the next so and so on through each grouping of each formation. If there's only one grouping in a formation I just leave the #1 back in.

My last game using gameflow Green-Ellis had 15 carries and Gio Bernard had 10. Works great for me.

Re: TNK - Madden Next-Gen Sliders

Just want you guys to know I haven't abandoned these.....I've been crazy busy with the baby at home and I've also gotten hooked on my Celtics franchise in NBA2k14

I hope to play the Super Bowl vs. SF this weekend at some point and am going to eventually start another franchise with a bum team and try to build them up.

Just haven't had time to commit to football gaming lately and I can bang out a game in NBA 2k14 in just over an hour late at night when I actually get the chance to play the PS4

MY GOD I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MLB THE SHOW ON PS4.......GONNA BE AMAZING

So with you on that man, every year I start with your sliders then go off and waste time trying others.

Well not this year I'm going to stick with yours from start to finish and you can definitely count on me to intensely help you test them this year so we can get them locked down as soon as possible.
