Reaction Time slider backwards?

I read someone saying it is reversed in the Interceptions thread. Since I haven't seen anyone else confirming that, what have others found, reversed or not?

Re: Reaction Time slider backwards?

It isn't that the interception slider is backwards, it is that the pass coverage slider has a greater effect on interceptions.

I'm not asking about interceptions, I'm asking about the Pass Reaction slider and how it affects pass coverage. My question is if Pass Reaction slider is reversed and raising makes players react more slowly. In other words, zero producing faster reaction than 100.

Re: Reaction Time slider backwards?

From what I have witnesses the Reaction slider is not reversed, but does seem to be tied to skill level setting as well as its relationship with opposing sliders...

As you go through the skill levels the CPU sliders stay at 100 while the user sliders drop by 25 points per level from rookie. At the same time, the CPU reaction time gets faster. But, for example, you bring user and cpu sliders all down to 50, and then raise or lower reaction time slider, you will see that it then performs in a manner that higher is faster and lower is slower.

The reaction time slider is DEFINITELY reversed for the CPU.

Here we go again.

No, in my extensive testing, NONE OF THE SLIDERS on NEXT GEN M25 are reversed.

(strictly talking USER side)

Why say USER side if none of the sliders are reversed? What about CPU side?

Re: Reaction Time slider backwards?

What does the reaction time slider state in its description? Seems the Reaction Time Slider title in itself may be a bit misleading?...On one side, all other sliders seem to result in that a higher number equals better, ie a higher QB Accuracy is seen with QB accuracy at 95 as opposed to 5...

But, with Reaction Time, generally a smaller time to react is better...So I think it could go either way; like other sliders lower is less, thus a reaction slider at 20 would equal a greater time of reaction...Or a Reaction Time slider at 20 could indicate a reduction in time to react, thus being better...

From what I have observed, a higher reaction slider equals quicker reactions from the defense, including how LB's and DB's react to the run...BUT, with the various interactions there seems to be with sliders some perceptions could be clouded; meaning I could just be seeing things that are a result of other slider influences...
