EMPORIA'S ALL-PRO SLIDER SET / INTERCEPTION FIX

I've been on here as of late ranting and raving about the nonsense with this game. This is as basic as it gets, so if your looking for sim football, head over to TNK or Mizzou. Honestly, I don't know if we'll ever get it, but those guys are our best shot. If your looking for basic / fun game, this might work.

You only have to make a few changes.

1) Pick your CFM team / coach. (I'm just picking active coach of the team I want to play with. I have three different teams going in three different CFMs).

2) Change setting to All-Pro, and then change to 8 minutes.

3) Once in the CFM Hub, before starting, go to settings and change CPU coverage from 75 to 62. Then change CPU Interception to 43.

4) Manually create a save point and begin your CFM.

I've been able to actually throw the ball with limited picks. You do have to make decent throws and not force the action, but those few times you chuck it up or go for a streak, it's not an automatic pick. I've been playing with Arizona, NYJ, and TB. Unfortunately my run defense is ridiculous so it alters my games, but hopefully for you, you'll be able to enjoy passing and your games will be fun. AGAIN, IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SIM STATS AND ALL THAT THIS ISN'T IT. This little basic step is really for the common folk just trying to enjoy the game.

yeah, i just think less is more with this game.

the more people stray away from default settings no matter what level you play on, the worse it gets.

ive been using CPU coverage at 62 for a while now and CPU INT at 37.

some pretty good results. nothing perfect but it tones down the picks big time.

Does the INT slider effect the defense in any other way besides dropped picks?

Exactly; couldn't agree more. That's why I figured post these. It's a minor tweak but I find that it's fun again. Yea, there a few drops, and it's not a sim, but even playing with TNK and Mizzou's, it's still tough to get it sim. Granted those guys have done an awesome job, but less is better for simple and fun.

As an edit to those sliders above, I would suggest bumping the computer run block up as I usually limit them to no more than 50 yards a game. I haven't really played with it, but that's simple and user preference anyway. I just noticed the 62 / 43 setting does make a difference.

Sorry TC, didn't see this. From my experience when I just got infuriated and turned the INT to 0, it didn't do anything.....and the reason for that is because if the pass coverage stays at 75, they still seem to get to the spot. You would think even with that, setting the INT to 0 would make it be: NO INTERCEPTIONS but it's EA!

So I originally dropped the coverage to 50 to match the user / human and brought the INT to 0 and the game was too easy. The D seemed to be a step behind.

So I found this to actually work....or should I say make it fun and playable. For example, I just threw 6 picks with this setting. But 4 of them were because I forced the pass, threw off the back foot, etc. So if you play smart, you should be able to have fun. Streaks and fades are exciting cause you have a high % to get picked if you're covered.

So I don't know. For me and my skill...I can actually play the game again and have some fun. Sad that's it's not a simulation and it's a bad game if you break it down as what year we are in, but it's EA so enough of that rant.

Hopefully it'll work for you. Again, you might want to tweak run block up a to 55, maybe 60 as for me, the cpu can't run on me. Also, you are not going to see 400 to 500 total offense from anyone. If you're looking for that go to TNK and Mizzou and that's even asking alot. You have to play like 14 min. quarters.

Just not worth it anymore. As mentioned above, easy / basic is the way to go. The less altered, the better....I think.
