This gives that feeling of the QB releasing the ball faster and is kind of nice as I hate the dreaded 'I pressed the throw button a half hour ago, and it took him too long to release the ball so he took a sack! Should've been a TD!!!' Lol.

I know what you mean!!!! I felt like I saw this at the extremes though, High or Low. It was coupled with something else as well. Did you ever get the pass where you HAMMER the receiver button and you watch as a lovely rainbow pass gets picked off, all while you are STILL holding down the button. Lol, I have seen it @ both high and low settings though.

Also, great point about the Awareness. I'm sure that has something to do with it. Same with the traits. My battle here is, I used to get 6-7 sacks on Eli Manning until I turned down ITG and finally got a reasonable 3. He is "Oblivious to Pressure". I'm just looking for a set that leaves the possibility of me getting 0 Sacks in a game, under 250 yards Passing, and possibly shut out. I want to fight for 300 yards, fight for 3 sacks, fight for TDs!!

Re: Slider affects on other sliders

Ok can someone simplify all this for me. IG is at 50 and my Jets defense sacked the QB 9 times in game 1 vs TB and in the game so far vs NE have sacked Brady 7 times through 3 QTRs.

So where should I go with IG to help this sack issue?

It's not that simple, but try both. You should notice a difference immediately one way or the other. The Jets have no business sacking Brady 7 times. I say go to 40, 35 or even 10 if you're really looking to see a difference (I think it would mess with other stats though). Mr. Hanky would probably say 60, 65 or 75 max. Gotta test it out and see what fits you best.

Can you post your slider set so we have a reference? This is a major aspect of the game, one slider isn't going to solve all of your problems. Sacks, Coverage, Rushing Yards, and Passing Yards/QB Completion%have a major impact on the Sim game and are all influenced by multiple different sliders.

Its CHARTERS All MADDEN NEXT GEN SLIDER SET..... The game play is great and I'm happy with everything so far except for the sacks. Also TB didn't really run much on me in Game 1 only 14 rushing carries for 37 yards.

Re: Slider affects on other sliders

-Try Grounding at 35, or 65 your choice.
-Click CPU QB Acc up a point until he starts getting rid of it sooner.
-In my experiences whenever I had RTK and PCI at 50 I would get more sacks.
-Try HOLD/FS at 65 to push them slightly ahead of OFF. These 3 make the biggest impacts on everything. I think there is a sweet spot somewhere between 50 and 70 where it WILL increase the aggressiveness of the line. And then somewhere around 50-40 where they are less aggressive but more inclined to actually cause the penalty (without it being called) every so often. It's a trade-off I think; you can go low where they are passive but will actually hold on some plays (causing less sacks?), or you can go higher where they will be aggressive but acknowledge the penalty could be called and back off some.
-DPI/OPI have a say in the coverage here and obviously you want enough coverage to keep stats in check, but loose enough to make QB willing to force it into a small window every now and then (QB Acc affects this)
-I've always felt that having CPU PBK over 50 gives QB the illusion that he has more time than he really does.
*50 seems to be the line for every slider. 50+ is more aggression/penalty awareness. (CPU RBK @ higher settings will make CPU more willing to call run plays because it's more aggressive) -50 is less aggression/disregard for penalty since it won't be called. I know the Pass Interference penalties at really low settings creates more of the disregard gameplay. DBs and WRs will just hold on to each other the whole time pretty much. However, since it's not as aggressive, Zone Def. takes a hit because they are just hanging out not really doing anything. It helps Man cov. but only to an extent, basically if you're pressing the WR, then it's Lock Down Coverage. If not, then it's weakened somewhat.

Idk man this is what causes slideritis so you can really try to get into it but it's never gunna be perfect. You could always just take control of the DL if you see him shedding the block and hit Jump to try and J.J. sWatt the pass. Or if you're real ballsy you can put RTP to 55 and wear 4-5 Roughing The Passer penalties every game.

Re: Slider affects on other sliders

Too many sacks
Speed Backs get the edge and burn the defense too often on outside runs and screens
CPU doesn't run the ball enough
Penalties are either too frequent or are never called, there is no sweet spot
Penalty sliders have too much effect on game performance and should not counteract other sliders
Some sliders have the strangest effects on the game (tackle slider affects Field Goals)

I played a few games with OFF @ 70, HOLD/FS @ 90. Got 0 pressure with the Dallas D-Line. (Ware 96, Hatcher 93, Spencer 89) try it out.
