I did too this time around. Will try setting up a new CFM and try again. I do agree that a one game test is not an accurate sampling.

But does anyone know how Armor's test games have played out for sacks after the tuner?

Why do you have pre existing injury set to off, in your cfm settings?

That's my choice. My universe, my rules.

Anyway the games post tuner have been the best I have had yet!!! Game is truly a gem!!!

Play and enjoy it. Tweak to your taste but for me and my playing style it is a dream.

Best football game ever.

Watch my twitch video of broncos at Rams.

Seriously.

Manning was manning. I was Quinn all game from the defensive cam and it was a war.

Most organic experience I have ever had with a football game. My sacks came from Long and my MLB (3 total) and were earned as Quinn (me) was double teamed, chipped and I was causing pressure too. Just a great example of this slider set and the new tuner and new ea roster on display.

Check it out!!! It's all there on video.

Also watch week one Pats at Dolphins from last night.

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

I was having an age old dilemma with this game where no matter what team I used I could carve up the CPU most games and it was just becoming boring doing so. I never wanted to play as the Eagles due to their offense for this reason. Keep in mind I'm not the best with the sticks but am pretty good at reading defenses and finding the open man.

After the tuning update and new sliders from Armor I decided to start an online CFM with them and had two of the best Madden games I've ever played. I won both but they were down to the wire nail biters. I was completely proven wrong. My offense was stagnant at times and looked unstoppable at others while my D struggled to keep me in the games. Just like the real life Eagles.

Absolutely loving what I'm seeing from this game!

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

I'm currently 3-1 with OAK and things look pretty good, especially on offense. Carr has 735 yards, 4 TDs, and 2 INTs; MJD has 279 yds and a 4.5 AVG; Streater has 239 yds and an 18.4 AVG.

The defense has been a bit surprising--I have 17 sacks and 9 INTs in 4 games, but 4-5 sacks have come on screens, which is something they just need to fix, and 3-4 picks have been user-generated, and we all know the game rewards user attempts with disproportionate success.

I don't think I will continue to have so much defensive success, especially since I benefitted hugely early on from poor games by Geno Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Tannehill. Brady carved me up and I lost 38-3 to NE.

If my defense falters, I am in huge trouble, because while MJD has a good stat line through 4, he averaged less than 4 YPC in two games, 4.0 even in one, and had one monster game vs. HOU where he got most of his yards and most of his YPC average. In every other game I've gotten just enough offense to win if my defense dominates, and I have a feeling that's how it's going to be through most of the season.

I'll report back at 8 games and see if the sacks and picks are still too high.

The games are very fun and competitive, and despite the early success, I very much feel like I'm playing as OAK and the roof will cave in at any moment.
