Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

I think they may have updated the tuner because I just played the Broncos in my online CFM against the Chargers at home and was up 49-0 at halftime. Then I subbed in my second string just to save from possible injury with the final score being 70-7. Also I forced 4 fumbles and 2 were picked up and taken for touchdowns. I have never played a CFM game like this. It felt like they weren't even trying. My game before that was a very competitive game with the 49ers and I won 40-37. I have been fairly satisfied with gameplay with the exception of sacks to this point especially after the 49er game because there were only 3 sacks the entire game. But then I get this game! The only other possibility for me is my team's confidence is quite high as the Broncos are undeated with close wins over Seattle and San Francisco. Has anyone else noticed any changes today that might be different from the past few weeks?

Okay I did a little more digging and it turns out that the Chargers had 4 starters injured for the game. 3 were on defense and the other was their LT so that may be what happened plus I checked and they have the worst passing defense so far which was surprising as they were 5-2. But I think EA needs to tone down the blowouts a bit.

Week One Year 2

Bills at Dolphins.

Will be streaming this game following the Dolphins/KC game. Figure around 7:30-7:40 EST start.

The Dolphins had a great off-season/draft coming into year 2 and are expected to make a huge turnaround from a really disappointing year 1 (5-11).

Tune in for some good Madden action and discussion in chat.

I too have dominated on these sliders.. Might just have to try something else.

I do wonder what upping the difficulty to All Madden on these sliders would do?

If they fix the sack issue this game will be epic.

Even then, watch that Redskins game, how many sacks did they have?

There are games I get 1 sack, there are games I can rack up 10. I average about 5 per game. Which is not HUGELY far off from NFL averages.

Either way, if I won the lottery Id buy you two guys a boat.
Sorry but 5 sacks a game is in fact hugely off the NFL average, which is 2.5 sacks per game per team, so basically double.

5 sacks a game would average out at 80 sacks on the year, which would make your average team in Madden the second coming of the 1985 Chicago Bears. And they *only* managed 64 on the year....

Its not remotely realistic and is a killer for those of us who want reasonable realistic stats.

If you guys want to know what stats to measure your sliders against then use Pro Football Reference guide to last season's stats.

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

hey armor just wanted to say i love these sliders. I too am a disgruntled Fins fan and am doing a CFM with them, currently 4-0 headed into the bye week. The games have been awesome, with 3 of them being down to the wire games. Stats throughout the league look realistic as well. I also play with defensive lock, and i enjoy every moment of it. From the big sacks with Cam Wake to game saving INT with Finnegan, it really is a great challenge.

First regular season game and these sliders rock. A total of 124 total plays is perfect. Tony Romo broke his elbow and he is out for the season. The most innaccurate QB in the world Brandon Weeden came in to save the day. The 49ers had run all over me until the 4th quarter until things finally started to go my way. Kaep threw a pick six to Kyle Wilbur but then with two minutes left, he ran in for another TD. Weeden drove down the field and handed the ball off to Murray for the TD and 2pt conversion. Then, the miracle happened. Successful onside kick! Matt Johnson recovers the onside and gives the cowboys one last chance. 3rd down and 15 and 41 yard pass to Terrance Williams down to the 3 yard line. Two plays later, TD to Witten in the corner of the endzone! The Niners had one last chance. The hail mary went up. And swatted down by Sterling Moore. Game over. Best game of Madden I have ever played.
