Re: Armor & Sword's/Marino's All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

What sliders should I mess with to get the cpu to have a better run game and be able to stop my run better?

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

Armor, I read a couple of days ago that players still disappear (was the RB in this case) while messing with auto-subs/fatigue. Can anyone else confirm this? Is it a good idea to touch auto-subs if that is the case this year, as it was last year? I'll be using 55 fatigue this year opposed to 53.. just two points, and I believe I used 55 fatigue for M25 as well.

Also, one more thing on the QB accuracy slider. I did notice before altering sliders that QB completion percentages were just a tad bit high, like around 70%+ for some of the lower-tierd QBs.

I think I may go from 10 QB accuracy on both sliders to 5 for the cpu and 10 for the user. I played as the Rams (me) vs. Jags last night and saw good results at 5 for the cpu. Chad Henne was still able to throw the ball, but it wasn't a crazy completion percentage like I saw before adjusting that slider.. errant passes were there, but not too inflated. Just enough errant passes from Chad Henne to feel about right. I think 8 or 10 is good for the user QB either way. 8 or 10, what's two points, I'll just stick with 10. I think that is fair for the user, as I previously stated that with Drew Brees and 5 QB accuracy, I actually had a pretty good game passing, but with a lower-tiered QB, it was just too abysmal. So 5 for cpu and 10 for user for me. Thanks again for the sliders and your input Armor.

I'm really having a hard time getting the auto subs work. I feel they are the same as last year.

Check out my post above. Unfortunately, I think they are still broken, with disappearing players again.

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

well, good news after watching one game only on A&S's twitch stream, no disappearing players in that first game against the pats.. so maybe the auto-subs DO work this year, at least on these settings. I'm going to go down to 53 fatigue and play with these auto-subs myself now.

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

Just played a game with the v1.1 sliders/settings. Very pleased with the results.

I was going against Cleveland. Hoyer started and he actually did very well before he got hurt. It didn't "feel" like he was dominating me, so I was a little surprised to look at the stat sheet and see he was 8-for-9 before he got knocked out with an injury. Manziel came in and was all over the place, throwing a bad pick and seeming to struggle a little bit to complete half his passes.

I forgot to check out the sack numbers, but I know that my defense only recorded 1 total sack as late into the game as the 3rd quarter. I might have gotten another one in the 4th, but I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

I got some okay pressure but these sliders feel like they struck a much improved balance. The blocking didn't complete stonewall me (so it's not like sacks went down at the expense of a compelling pass-rush feature), but what made the difference was that their QBs weren't standing back there forever to the extent that they used to.

Intentional Grounding set to 5, Pass Blocking set to 75. I think that's the best setting I've tried yet.

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

Just played my first game of my TEST FRANCHISE with the Patriots.......I plan on playing 4 to 8 games of a season to test and tweak.

* I didn't have a single penalty called on either team - this absolutely needs to change.

* Overall it was pretty good for my first actual game of Madden 15.....but there are definitely things that need to be adjusted a little bit
