Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

With the sim stats online I believe they said it was a code issue so I am sure it is something similar with offline. They are hopefully making multiple fixes for the patch that comes out.

This is what I'm hoping as well, but I just hope we don't have to wait until October for a patch, at least for the offline CFM fix. I would be VERY surprised if they did anything to fix the QB taking too many sacks, but one could hope. It does seem like many more have complained about sacks this year than last.. and last year in M25 there was still a pretty bad sack issue.

With all the people griping on EA's twitter pages I am sure they will be fully aware of all the issues going on in this game. It could be October but hopefully by late September so that is why I decided to do online for the time being getting the sliders the way I want them. Plus we have to wait for the good rosters to come out anyway.

True on the final 53 rosters, but those are coming soon. I actually already have a completed slider set ready to go for my CFM, so a wait until October would be painful.. but if they fix the QB sack problem along with the sim stats in one patch and it takes that long, I'd still be happy. Just wish it would come a bit quicker. Oh well, just a waiting game now it seems.

TNK - PATRIOTS TEST FRANCHISE

Game #3 - @ Oakland Raiders (0-2) @ New England Patriots (2-0)

The (2-0) Patriots and (0-2) Raiders faced off in New England for the Patriots home opener and played a fantastic game that was very physical and entertaining throughout. New England had a 14-10 lead at halftime before Oakland would control the 3rd quarter and had themselves a 17-14 lead entering the 4th quarter. Jimmy Garoppolo led the Patriots on a nice drive to begin the 4th quarter but they stalled in the red zone and had to settle for a Gostkowski FG to tie the game at 17-17 with 10:32 to play. The Raiders responded with a good drive of their own that ended with a 48 yard FG by Janikowski to put Oakland ahead 20-17 with 6:13 remaining in the game. The Patriots would start their drive with the ball on their own 23 and put together a good mix of run and pass plays as the rookie Garoppolo would spread the ball around to his receivers and lead New England in to the red zone as we hit the two minute warning. On the first play after the 2 minute warning, Garoppolo would hit Aaron Dobson on 2nd & goal on a crossing route for a 6 yard TD to give the Patriots a 24-20 lead with 1:56 remaining and send the Gillette Stadium crowd in to a frenzy. The Raiders would get the ball to start their drive on their own 24 yard line needing to go 76 yards for a TD in 1:52 as they trailed 24-20. Schaub hit his first 3 passes to move Oakland across to midfield with 1:17 to play and all 3 timeouts as we are primed for a great finish to this awesome game!! The Patriots defense was getting carved up as Schaub was hitting intermediate passes and marching the Raiders down the field to the Patriots 15 yard line. Chandler Jones jumped offside giving Oakland a 1st down & 5 at the Patriots 10 yard line with 0:30 remaining and it was suddenly gut check time for the Patriots defense as they allowed the Raiders to move 66 yards in just over a minute and now needed to come up with a big play if they want to win this game. Schaub threw an incomplete pass on 1st down setting up 2nd & 5 with 0:26 to play. Schaub dropped back to pass on 2nd down and fired a pass for Denarius Moore in the back corner of the end zone and THE BALL WAS INTERCEPTED BY LOGAN RYAN WHO MADE A GREAT LEAPING CATCH to save the game and fell to the ground in the end zone as the patriots would get the ball back with 0:20 remaining. The Raiders still had all 3 timeouts left and their defense stopped forced the Patriots to punt with 5 seconds remaining after 3 rushing attempts but Ryan Allen would boom an excellent punt high and towards the sideline and the clock would expire as the ball landed just out of bounds and the Patriots hold on for a thrilling 24-20 victory

NOTES

* The Patriots improve to 3-0 on the season as they beat the Raiders 24-20 in an absolutely outstanding game

* Rob Gronkowski left the game with an abdominal tear in the 2nd quarter and did not return. This was a big blow as the Patriots were already without QB Tom Brady who was injured in Week #1. Gronkowski will miss the next few games with his injury

* Jimmy Garoppolo has another solid game as he completed 22 of 33 for 218 yard with a TD and also ran for a TD as the rookie has looked poised and in control of the offense as he fills in for the injured Tom Brady

* Both the Patriots and Raiders defenses were stout against the run and both teams had to earn their yards on offense

* The Patriots and will be tested over these next couple games as they travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs and then return home to New England for a big Sunday Night Football matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. We will learn a lot about the Patriots as they will have to play a couple tough conference opponents without their 2 most important players on the offense.

* I am getting more penalties with my latest tweaks but still NO HOLDING CALLS!!! I'll continue to tweak the penalties.....we are getting closer. I will probably play 2 or 3 more games before scrapping this franchise and starting my real franchise once I am satisfied with the penalites and confident that the sliders are 100% locked in and ready

I haven't seen a holding call either. In fact I don't think I have seen a holding call in several years on Madden, LOL.

I did get holding calls in M25 frequently with the slider around 60-63 if I remember correctly. I'm not sure of the exact number, but it was charter's All-Pro sliders. Could have even been in the 50s, not sure. That slider did increase holding calls, from my experience with it. But then, we also believed it had an affect on the O-linemen holding their blocks longer and getting better push.. lol. Maybe it did.

I don't know what's up the penalties this year. At 52-51 I saw multiple roughing the passer calls (player bumping into the QB), so putting that at 50 is the right move. I've seen a couple face masks and holding as well, but not too much. I think I've seen one, maybe two clipping calls. Less penalties from the common ones overall, than M25 though..

Since you are done with your slider set have you been able to get a decent amount of db deflections for your team? I tend to play DE or DT so I want to see some more deflections from my db's. It seems like they tend to go for the pick most of the time and it is usually reflected in the stats where the CPU will have several deflections and I will only have a couple?
