I bought the game today and decided to start up with an online CCM with the Dallas Cowboys. As I've had success with your sliders before in the Madden series, I plugged in these sliders and this is how the first regular season game went against the 49ers at home.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how this game played out. I had a lot of trouble getting off the field with the horrific defense, and on the other side I had some troubles moving the ball against their defense on a couple of series.

Good job so far!

Re: Charter04's Madden NFL 15 Sliders

I started a cfm with the Jags. Preseason seemed almost too easy even though I lost 2 games. I traded away most older players and my two top WRs. My first regular season game was against the eagles. The first play of the game Foles got hurt and I thought this would make things easier. Boy was I wrong. Barkley only had one inconpletion the whole game and I struggled running and passing. Had around 30% completion percent and about 2.5 ypc. It was crazy how much harder the regular season was. I traded for C Schwenke, RG Long, and RT Oher. I thought I would be able to run better with this improved line and the addition of RB Steven Ridley.

I'm glad it's a challenge and I'm thinking I might trade bortles for a good young CB if I'm going to suck with him anyways.

One thing that has really helped me defend the cpu pass game is use the shade underneath option in zone. The cpu QB tends to take what the d gives them so they will always take that underneath throw if its' wide open. If you take that away they have to look downfield more.

I concur with Charter on that, Shade Underneath is one of the only coverage audibles that I have found to be effective on a consistent basis

Re: Charter04's Madden NFL 15 Sliders

I used these sliders in my franchise. I only changed the accelerated clock to 10 because I like faster games (still had realistic stats and such). Offense worked really well. Running was difficult and breaking a long one took skill and luck. My QB (78 overall) hit realistic short passes, but struggled on the well covered passes. Interceptions and blown plays were normally my fault.

Defense, however, is still shaky. I'm also not saying your sliders are the reason behind this. I consider myself a pretty decent play caller on defense and my personnel was above average. I couldn't stop the run though. In two games I gave up 200+ yards rushing. My lineman can't get off blocks and my LBs won't scrape off. Defending the pass is a pain in the ***. Average QB's pick me apart in any coverage. I can't get pressure without getting a sack. So it's either a completed pass or sack.

It may be me, but are you having these problems as well? I don't know how to bump them up and down so I get good defense.
