Charter, I've been playing with your sliders and I have to say, these are pretty darn good. I did make a few tweaks to accommodate the ratings changes that the FBG roster provides, but overall, I am playing with your settings, and they have brought the game back to life. Nice job

That's awesome to hear. I just started a fantasy draft CFM using the latest set and and the first game is great throw one half. Got a nice highlight that I'll post later. The cpu QB burned me on a deep ball

Good god what an epic game. I mean this was a top 5 game for me all time and I've been playing video game football since the original Tecmo Bowl (With the unstoppable Bo Jackson).

I recieved. Was feeling good. Rivers started hot completing his first 5 passes to get to their 30. Then threw 2 incompletions and and took a sack. Kicked the FG to go up 3. Still feeling good.

Now on D I like to call usually 2/3 man and 1/3 zone. I like to mix in lots of blitzes that come from all angles (think Cardinals). This usually works well because I have some pretty good man cover corners. Well AJ Green said **** that ****. The drove down on me like I wasn't even on the field. Couldn't get any pressure and Verrett was getting owned by Green. Capped it off with a Jermey Hill TD run. I was discouraged to say the least but it was really early.

Next possesion for me was terrible. Couldn't get anything going. They got the ball and started driving on me again. Got them to 3rd down and long and called a man press blitz. This usually works out well because my corners can hang and the pressure caused by the blitz causes a quick throw. Well AJ Green bitch slapped Verret and Dalton threw up a 40 yard TD pass. I was pissed. 14-3 Bengals.

I continued to do **** on offense. Couldn't run and Rivers was off. He had several throws that were off. Totally unlike him. Had several drops by my receivers which was not like them either. I felt a huge momentum swing going to the Bengals. Started calling more zone on D and trying to give whoever was on Green help. Allowed 2 FG to the Bengals and got one of my own to make the score 20-6 at the half with the Bengals receiving to start the 3rd.

What do they do to start the 3rd? Drive right down on me again. They end up scoring on a screen to Hill for 20+ yards. I'm down 27-6 with about 10min left in the 3rd. I'm starting to get desperate. Nothing is working and I have to put some points on the board on this drive.

Phil gets to work. He starts spreading it around. Allen, Anderson, and Green are making some huge plays. Big runs after the catch. Clutch catches. Mathews still can't get it going but that's okay. I get in the redzone and Mathews puts it in from 2 yards out. 27-13 Bengals.

I decided I have to generate pressure some how because Dalton is eating my secondary alive when he has time. I'm holding Hill in check for the most part. I start sending guys from all over. Generate a 3 and out (finally). 4th qtr starts. Get the ball back and Phil starts slinging again. If you notice Phil had a terrible comp % and only completed 23 passes. But had 381 yards. That's 16.56 yards per completion. So in other words he made his completions count. Got in the redzone again and was able to find Green in the back of the endzone for the TD. Mom feels like it's starting to swing a bit. 27-20 Bengals.

They get the ball and on the second play of the drive Dalton makes his first (and only) mistake throwing to a tightly covered TE and my rookie OLB Mays steps in front for the INT, boo yeah!! That's not all. With his 93 speed he is able to out run everybody close for the pick 6!!!!!! Just like that we are all tied up at 27.

Next drive my D shuts them down again. My guys are generating pressure and causing short passes then swarming. I have a very sure tackling team. I go 3 and out but hit the punt out of bounds at the 6. 7 plays later and with 7 min left they are punting it back to me. Ellington comes up huge. Not only did he take a screen for 40 a few drives ago he takes this punt back 32 yards to give me great field position. Now it's Mathews time. All of a sudden he's find lanes. Getting chunks of yards. Rivers is mixing in passes but it's mainly Matthews show on this drive. Get in the redzone and Mathews takes it in from the 12 for his 2nd TD of the game and gives the Chargers a 34-27 lead. I can't believe I've made the comeback. I knew this team was capable of it (from the season stats) but when I was down 27-6 I almost threw in the towel.

4 min left and my D bends a bit but holds and forces a punt. Now we are offically at Mathews time. I grind all the way down the filed. At one point in time he was averaging 2.1 YPC. Not anymore. We drive down the field and he takes it in from the 1 for his 3rd TD of the game and a 41-27 lead for the Chargers. Glad I stuck to the running game lol.

1min 25 sec remaining when they get the ball back. I knock Dalton out of the game and McCarron comes in. On 3rd and a bunch I call a man blitz (I know it was stupid. Should have called a cover 4 or something with that lead but he looked rattled under pressure on his first 3 drop backs) and he launches up a 40 yard perfectlly thrown ball to Banyard for a TD. Dumb.

They try the onside lkick and I recover. No timeouts left for them and I kneel out the clock. Chargers win 41-34. Just wow. Such a fun and intense game. So glad I was able to pull it out. Big play by me Allen, Anderson, and Green. They were so clutch. Mathews going off in the 4th qtr. Just freaking great.

Next up is 14-2 New England at Foxboro. My #1 ranked offense vs. their #1 ranked D. Also my #5 ranked D vs. their #4 ranked O. Should be a good one. I'll keep you posted.

Re: Charter04's Madden NFL 15 Sliders

Even the NFC South is crappy in this game, mind you Brees was injured for a 5 weeks but I'm somehow leading the division at 5-6, btw I find that you get INTs if you dont switch, I had only gotten 4 INTs all year and then I stopped switching last game and we picked Matt Ryan off 3 times

Re: Charter04's Madden NFL 15 Sliders

These sliders will be the one I will use for now. But I do have one question charter, can u tighten up the human defense just a tiny bit? If it's even possible that would be great, anyway I played week one with the Eagles for a test and i beat the jags 56-14, now they are the jags....so remember that, I also played a game a week ago with the cardinals and I lost to the Rams 14-9 so there definitely is variety and I'm liking it, my Cardinal deffense actually played defense for once and the coverage was pretty good! Just in some areas they look bad but mainly it's good! I will play week 2 with the Eagles tonight and do a Titan game also tonight and see if my team actually does bad. I also want to point out that I might play week 2 on all pro and see how that goes but I might make a different franchise test for that seperate skill level. Overall I give this set a 8.75/10, I also want to see pass blocking and dline rathings for my week 1 game and check the sack stats for the jags and me cuz I know for sure the o lines tremendously bad and my pass Rush is decent, but their oline sucks, so we will see. I'll get back to this thread later tonight to report back!

I also wanna mention for the cardinal and Rams game I had 4 picks with Peterson which was pretty awesome, just 1 shy of the record! So close! Any their QB who played was Shaun hill who went 14/30 150 yards 1 td 4 ints, Logan Thomas for me went 23/42 304 yards 0 TD 1 int.
