Re: Smitty's Zero-Theory Simulation Sliders

I lowered the Kick power to 45 and upped the fumble to 30. Not too many fumbles but still some with big hits.

The two games ive played so far

16-13 with both sides struggling to score TD's in the Redzone
38-28 Which i had a hard time stopping the Texans and scoring on offense. Towards the end i started to move the ball way better but i threw 4 picks including one after getting to the 1 yard line which pretty much sealed the win.

Overall its fun and challenging. The run game can be very stagnant but backs can still break off good 5-10-15 yard chunks.

I dont know if its a setting or the game but WR's catch the ball near the sideline and always run really wide and step out of bounds short of the first or in the open field.

Re: Smitty's Zero-Theory Simulation Sliders

Played on All-Pro 10 minute quarters with 20 second run off. I was the Titans playing against the Colts. Downloaded this on Sept 17th. Wondering if it has been updated recently or if it is still the same sliders as the day you put it up.

Some of the positive with the sliders was that catching the ball felt way more fluid then playing on the preset sliders. The WR would just keep running after catching the ball, loved it!!! There are actually some broken tackle and fighting for extra yards. I liked how the really fast players would break away from the slower players and not get tackled. The punt return game also felt a little better. Was actually able to run for some yards.

The negatives though are my running game was WAY too powerful. I was averaging 10 yards a carry, which I never did on normal all-pro. The Colts couldn't even average 2 yards a carry. Way too may fumbles and INT's on both sides of the field.

I won 38-7. There 7 points was an INT for TD. Luck was 7-18 68 0TD and 3INT. I was 12-28 2TD 5INT. Felt like only 2 were my fault. RB had over 300 yards.

Thanks for your hard work.

Well I'm glad your posting again haha, I've read and heard good things about your sliders, so tonight, more like right now. Ima plug this in and then play some games with these. I will report back with some stats as soon as possible.

Re: Smitty's Zero-Theory Simulation Sliders

I'm liking that I've finally found someone who is willing to make a slider set that actually assists pass coverage and interceptions. But do you know that the penalty sliders directly affect player behavior? Josh has most of the information posted on his sets OP, with the exception of clipping which he claims affects run blocking(I haven't noticed a difference made by it personally)
Also his special teams sliders are right on the money for those looking for a good set.

If you can find a way to get Facemask bumped up quite a bit without breaking the slider sets performance then we'll start seeing more penalties per game. -Edit- Facemask and Holding. These are the only two penalty sliders that are consistently able to appear in the game without player intervention. Used to be clipping, but it seems like post patch this is no longer working. -/EDIT-

Re: Smitty's Zero-Theory Simulation Sliders

Do you get realistic CPU completion % and does the computer play Alex Smith style? Aka checkdown ball or do they vary depending on who the QB is?
