I see you guys tracking the average penalties called in the NFL vs in madden. I think the better thing to do would be to try to achieve the average penalty yards per team per game in Madden vs the NFL.

Also in past maddens the penalty sliders had a great impact on gameplay...

Penalties
Offside - (Higher more defense shed blocks and aggressive at the snap)
False Start
Holding
Facemask - (Higher more aggressive tackles)
Defensive PI - (Higher less aggression for DBs)
Offensive PI -(Higher less aggression for WRs)
KR/PR Interference - (Higher more defensive responsiveness to ball)
Clipping - (Higher less downfield blocking)
Intentional Grounding - (Higher more QB take off, Increase if QB holds on to ball too long)
Roughing the Passer - (Higher less sacks)
Roughing the Kicker - (Higher less defensive pursuit)

That's not a bad idea... My biggest problem so far has been that 95% of the penalties called are on the defense, not the offense. It makes it very difficult to acheive any realism with penalties that way. Until I can get more false starts or holding penalties(hopefully via a patch) I may just have to accept that penalties are a lost cause. Drives me crazy.. this is the first year in a long time that I haven't been able to achieve realistic penalty stats.

Trying with DPI/OPI at 5 just to see the results. Probably still get 0 calls but after seeing 0 interference calls in Madden 15 so far, I am determined to get some.

Face Mask seems to be the only penalty slider that shows an obvious and noticeable difference when adjusted. I don't get the reason for even having them in the game the way they are utilized...

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

I have just had my first Offensive Pass Interfernace call with the Slider at 85. Probably a one off though. It was against me but still nice to see.

Sliders That I know do work and get called.

Face mask. I have this on 54 and I get anywhere from 2 to 4 called per game.

Clipping at 62 I get anywhere from 2 to 6 called per game. You have to be careful with this. You put it too high and every single time on special teams a clipping call will be made.

Roughing the passer at 52 I get anywhere from 1 to 3 called per game.

False start works but I messed with it , and lost where i was getting a nice number of calls on it.

I play 10 min qtrs with acc clock at 20 seconds.

Im currently tweaking clipping and false start.
