That's one of main reasons why I've always had my sliders on fast or very fast. The CPU is definitely more of a challenge when the gameplay is faster. Keep in mind I'm talking about the gameplay on All-Madden only..

Does game sped have to do with the inability to turn up field? Every time I catch an out route or WR screen my guys get stuck in quicksand instead of turning upfield with purpose

I've played many games on slow and normal. Normal is better gameplay hands down.

That's the exact thing that playing on a faster speed helps IMO.

I can confirm seeing a difference, for the better, in gameplay on normal speed.

Re: I think speed has an enormous impact on gameplay

Here's what I wrote in another thread:

"Its amazing what a difference the game speed can make. I just played 2 games in my online pats franchise vs the broncos. Same sliders and both on all madden but one on slow and the other on normal.

On slow speed I managed to sack manning 3 times before the first quarter was finished. He'd hold on to the ball and never throw it away. On normal speed I couldn't get to him, he'd have the ball out of his hand as soon as he saw a defender coming at him. I only got 1 sack in the whole first half and it was a very realistic sack where he didn't really have time to do anything to avoid it."

Re: I think speed has an enormous impact on gameplay

I played the broncos last night, and couldn't lay one single sack on manning.

* it was preseason, so only one qtr of manning, and I was with the cowboys. haha
