Also, for some reason my punter is my kicker on kickoffs, even though my kicker is first on the depth chart for kicking. The punter is first on the depth chart for punting. Anyone had this problem before, or know why that may be? lol Thanks, if so.

On your dept chart there is a Kickoff KOS your punter is probably rated better than your kicker.

I did get a pick with Shields on a man defence down a sideline when Geno smith went long last game. My first pick of the season.
Everyone really needs to look at ratings for your players to see individual strengths and weaknesses. Look at man and zone and coverage ratings for DB, one reason I picked up Champ Bailey to help my defense, and that he is a former Dawg!

Thats why Bosher does kickoffs for falcons, same in real nfl also.

I actually should do some testing with an average to below average front 7 or D-line, and if see for myself if they struggle to get as much penetration, or any pressure in general against an average or good to great O-line. I'm thinking the really good front 7/D-lines are the ones getting the penetration all the time. Plus, take into account the O-line's player ratings you are playing against, compared to your front 7's.

As for the Seahawks, calling safety blitz with those safeties I could imagine some sacks. I've called the same play with my safeties and don't have nearly the same success. They get picked up more often than not. Or they just don't get there in time, and cause more pressure, maybe an errant throw though. Sometimes I get lucky on safety blitz and get a sack, but I've been burned DEEP on pass plays as well, with that play safety blitz and my weak secondary.

EA could do a little more though to fix the sack totals, in my opinion. The sack totals still seem kind of inconsistent, but we may have to just live with it, unfortunately. Or play with bad defenses. lol.. Hopefully they tweak it a bit more though.
I played teh first 3 games of the season in my CCM, against the Bears, Dolphins and Chargers. Always have at least 6 sacks in the game. Like i said, it's not about ou D-Line dominating all the time, but when i can cover manually the middle of the field with my MLB, the cpu QB holds the ball forever and take the sack instead of forcing a pass or thorowing it away.

Do you not belive the charter edited rosters can do wonders about that? I don't like the idea of edit rosters, but i'm starting to belive that's the only way to go.

In online CFM with only one user I can't load franchise and it's not on my resume online franchise.. Anyone know how I get it back? It's saved but won't let me load it.

Re: Quinn's Sliders (Armor & Sword base set w/ tweaks)

So I just finished my second game against the Buccaneers.

I had to re-play the game as I lost my connection at the end of the 2nd quarter. At that time, I had 2 legitimate offsides penalties on my D-linemen. One was an encroachment call, and the other was a D-lineman jumping on a fake hike and the QB snapping the ball in time for him to be called for the offsides.

I also had 1 holding call in that game on me (I still think they are inconsistent), 3 false starts on the CPU, and 1 facemask on me. Still no clipping calls, so I'm bumping that up to 75 from 70. All of these penalties were called with 1 minute left in the 2nd quarter, before I disconnected. So, I do believe I am finding a spot for some penalties. I believe the offside penalty is right on. I believe facemask should stay at 54, as with 55 there are way too many sometimes. False start is perfect where it's at.. the CPU gets just the right amount of false start calls from game to game, in my opinion. Holding is random, but it is still called once in a while at 99, sometimes multiple times. Clipping at 70 is has not been called since 4 pre-season games and 2 regular season games, so that goes up to 75, for now.

Now, as I mentioned, I had to re-play the Bucs game. I also so more penalties in that game. A few false starts, 1 or 2 facemasks, and 1 holding. I believe I am close to being done on penalties, if I can get clipping to be called occasionally, but not too much

Now on from penalties and to the game that was played.

Benching Shaun Hill was a good idea, because Case Keenum is noticeably better on the intermediate to deep routes. I had some errant throws on those routes, but not as many as I did against the Vikings with Hill. Good move on my part to bench Hill, as it stands now.

I was worried about Doug Martin in this game, as well as Vincent Jackson and rookie Mike Evans. They have some behemoths at WR. I thought Doug Martin would come out strong, as I have played him in the past (M25), and he usually does well. My front 7 did well to stop him, forcing Mike Glennon to throw up more balls.

The defense played lights out when it came to stopping the run, but Glennon was actually able to find some open intermediate routes. He also on a few attempts went with the long ball, but to no avail. He did very well hitting his WRs on intermediate routes, especially his favorite target in this game, rookie Mike Evans.

Keenum held his own, threw 2 picks, but some TDs as well. Took some sacks, but not many. Played much better than Hill did. I made it a imperative to run the ball more early on in this game, and actually did well with Stacy in the 1st half, which I believe opened up some play-action passes for completions. I'm looking at this upcoming draft class and there really aren't any stand-out QBs in it, but I must draft one and hope he is of quality.

Overall, the defense dominated this game with sacks and turnovers, tackles for losses, and a couple forced fumbles that I couldn't recover. I had one pick six to end the game.

Coming into the game the Bucs were 1-0 and had the number 1 defense and number 10 offense, after beating the Panthers 17-9 in week 1. I have a current OFF Rank of 13 and DEF Rank of 9 after two games.

BUT, yet AGAIN I had too many sacks. More than last game. Check the box score and count them up. Some were very legitimate sacks, where the penetration came to quick and the QB had no chance, some were from blitzing (I do blitz a lot), and maybe a few were from the QB holding the ball too long... but to be honest, I have not seen the QB hold on to the ball for like 5 seconds until he takes a sack, as I did pre-tuner updates. This just seems more like my D-line is just too dominating. Too much penetration, even with CPU pass blocking at 99. So, really I can't say much more than that, because this is on EA to fix. Nothing else is getting it done. I am going to go back to Intentional Grounding at 1 instead of 10 and see if that helps any, but I doubt it. Worth a try though.

Besides the high number of sacks again, I felt the gameplay was good. Glennon did throw deep bombs a few times after not having much success running, then started to throw the intermediate routes with success, and kept at that. It worked well for Glennon. There wasn't much dinking and dunking in this game. Glennon threw some errant passes. He also threw some errant passes as pressure was in his face. He got rid of the ball a few times when he was taking a hit. Overall, not a bad performance. We just need the sacks fixed, because I am liking how the sliders play.

And as I said, I believe I am almost done with the penalty sliders. I am just working on the clipping slider now, and once that starts being called here and there, I am done. The other sliders are working perfectly. Holding is still random.

Without further ado, the box score for the game. Take a look at it!
