Re: Statistics and Sliders_Oraeon

Feeling a bit optimistic about the patch. I saw the CPU QB throw the ball away 3 times in one half rather than take a sack. True they were all actually intentional grounding but still a huge improvement. So far only 2sacks in my first game rest of stats pretty good, but with throw away passes may have to alter a bit. I am now starting a second game to test with a different CPU elite QB. If the stats stay good I am feeling good about completing this slider set by the end of the weekend.

GB /Colts (Me): Lost with 2 fumbles on my last drives

Score: 33/23
Plays: 40+35/48+17
Sacks: 2/2
Pass Yd: 301/295
Comp: 62%/56%
INT: 1/1
Drop: 8/1
Defl: 5/0
Rush Yd: 169/42
BTK: 6/3
Fumble: 0/2
TFL 5/7
Punt: 38.6/42
Penalty: 57/20 (Facemask and roughing prolonged drives, too many false starts, to many def jumps visually annoying)

Errant throws: 40 ATT - 25 COMP - 8Drop - 0DEFL - 1 INT = 6

Changes:
1. Running looks pretty good if CPU may be a little overpowered will watch. I moved threshold to 40 and resulted in more big run plays. Didn't notice any difference in passing game.

2. QB ACC mainly down because of excessive drops but a few to many incompletes. Increase WR catch to 39. Increase QB ACC to 28. Improve pass coverage to 30 and see what happens with sacks and see if deflections go up. If sacks rise may have to leave low. Was always low to result in less sacks.

3. Penalty: Reduce false start to 60 and Offsides to 65

Re: Statistics and Sliders_Oraeon

Stopped next game to reset sliders at halftime.

Too many fumbles again for human: Moving to 20

Pass coverage on track for correct number of deflections at 30
Unfortunately 2 sacks in the half, better than before but worrisome
AI QB (Brees) too many drops still to assess (4 in a half). Will up WR catch to 45 and QB ACC to 33

Too many injuries back to 58
Fatigue 67 seemed RB coming out and not back in

Re: Statistics and Sliders_Oraeon

Oraeon, I played a game last night with these and I found that I fumbled three times (lost 2), and had injuries to three of my starters within a quarter.

But I will say this, I was playing against Kaepernick last night and he was 14-24 for 170 yards and ran for another 75 yards on eight rushes. Pressure made him throw three balls before he wanted to, and I only had three sacks overall...usually I'm pushing 8-9 per game. I don't remember that many drops, but one directly resulted in a pick six, on a ridiculous shoestring grab from my safety from a ball that bounced off the TE's hands. Play was reviewed and upheld, which was pretty cool to see.

Only one game, but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased overall with the game. I pulled away in the second half after the game was 17-16 (me) and ended up winning 38-19.

The thing I'm willing to trade off is the AI dropping INTs if it means it lowers the QB's completion percentage. It was great to see I was still able to get pressure and the CPU tried to adjust accordingly either by running or trying to force on in there. Not sure if it was just because it was Kaepernick, but I'd like to see what it would be like with these against Manning after the patch.

Re: Statistics and Sliders_Oraeon

Updated front page. I feel very happy now 4 games with only 2 sacks. QB completion high 60's. I did increase QB ACC a bit and decreased pass coverage down to 20. I also adjusted player fumble up to 34 as too many.

Just started a new franchise with these sliders, they feel great when playing and it was very competitive throughout the game. Here are some stats from the first game of my Texans Franchise:

Notes:
-I had two sacks the whole game (both were from J.J. Watt), while the opponent had zero. When using other sliders I still had problems with sacks but it looks like it went away for this game.

-While I was up with a comfortable lead, the Redskins stayed competitive and made it a game.

Overall the sliders felt great and realistic, I'll play a few more games with them and tell you how they are.

Re: Statistics and Sliders_Oraeon

I gave these a go late last night. Very competitive game.

there were 15 total broken tackles and 13 total drops.

Completion % were excellent. Mine was 58% with Derek Carr. Cpu was at 65% and 60% with two QB'S. Sacks still a major issue. It has to be the traits causing it. I was Oakland playing at San Diego. I sacked Rivers 8 times with not a single user sack. Intercepted him 3 times. I hurt him early in the 3rd and Matt Moore came in and delivered the ball significantly quicker. His completion % was worse but he got rid of the ball fast. No sacks.

Saw four fumbles. Vereen was unstoppable. Ran for 176 yards at 6.8 ypc. Broke tackles consistently and almost always got to the 2nd level untouched by defenders, literally. I had 2 TFL.

Re: Statistics and Sliders_Oraeon

How the devil do you play defense with these sliders? Been using them with the Cowboys, and went from giving (and gaining) 200-300 yds in the air to 400-500 yds over three games.
