Re: Swagger's All-Pro Chameleon Sliders

Home for lunch break - going to test as much as I can.

Rather than finishing complete games, I'm looking to start several and make some quick adjustments. Will post results ASAP.

Note I'm speaking of my own QB tweaks....Armor and I noticed that the QB edits were needed but your right to each his own but the changes to the QB edits takes atleast 10 min to do no big deal if your tired of seeing the QB hold on to the ball too long....

Now my QB @4 is for my taste as I'm seeing random over throws from each QB and their completion % is around 54 to 70% completions.....I can live with that. I don't mind the underneath dink and dunks but I use triangle audible to stop underneath routes and force the cpu into medium and long range passes...

It works as I play with my niners at the half against the Cardinals I'm wining 13-10 in a very tight game.....

One connection I can make with a lot of confidence is this:

Lowering roughing the passer leads to the QB shrugging away sacks.

This is a very good sign - helps the CPU dodge a few sacks each game.

I'm still noticing, however, that it's far too easy for the player D-line to get into the backfield.

I'm testing various penalty sliders now.

Re: Swagger's All-Pro Chameleon Sliders

OK might be onto something huge.

I'm testing as much as I can right now by playing one half of football, noting results, and then quitting out, tweaking penalties, and going back into the game.

In my 1st game, I was controlling the 49ers (me) and playing against the Cowboys (CPU). Romo's passing numbers felt accurate - but he was sacked 3 times.

I just raised HOLDING up to 99 just to see an extreme...and I'm in shock.

Romo was sacked 0 times.

Threw for about 80% with an INT.

And it was the most lifelike I've EVER seen the CPU. He threw the ball with much more urgency. When I did get pressure on him, he THREW OFF HIS BACK FOOT and his accuracy was affected.

I'm too excited to type right now.

Now, with holding that high, I did see the CPU and me both dominate in the running game. So obviously I'm going to lower it...but guys..there might be light at the end of this tunnel.

Testing one last quick half with holding at 75.

Will post results.

OK just played through 3 quarters. Holding at 75 (no other adjustments).

Romo went 20/25 202 1 INT.
Still had tons of urgency in the pocket - it was VERY HARD to get pressure on him.

BEST news of all:

I had ONE SACK. And it came from a safety blitz that got through immediately.
I felt like I earned it and had to work to create a scheme with the pressure.

Beautiful.

But I did find that my defense was letting players get wide open too often.

Running one last test by upping Human pass coverage and reaction time.

Getting very close. Holding at 75 is starting to feel very very good.

I'm starting to wonder if the CPU completion percentages are fixable at all.

Lower sacks is nice, but 80% completion percentage is not.

I'm noticing that the CPU QB even with the upped accuracy just doesn't over or under-throw more than 2-3 passes per game.

What's crazy is that the HUM QB misses all kinds of passes. I just don't know how they got this so wrong.
